Perfectly broken I
I bought this glove for my 8 year old. I relaced most of it and cleaned it up a little. It’s perfect now.
Wilson A440 12" RH
Love the adaptability of this glove for both softball and baseball! I'm an adult novice, joined a rec league this season and really appreciated the quality of this glove for the price. For a smaller adult hand that still plays an actual adult game, this was a great choice.
Great glove for 10U
I now have two boys that have A1000s and they are great gloves for younger players. Firmer than the soft A750/500 yet still soft enough for young hands, yet durable. I can catch with them just like an adult glove.
Great glove for my son
This is a glove that is built to last with a great feel.
Used A1000
Glove came in great shape, not completely broken in. The shape was good, so just needed some use.
Wilson A1000 Baseball Gloves & Mitts
The Wilson A1000 is a full grain leather baseball glove built in Wilson's A2000 factory. The same craftsmen who build A2000 gloves cut and shape these. Patterns copy A2K and A2000 models to identical specifications. The leather is softer, so the glove feels game-ready sooner. Wilson lists the line for players roughly ten to fourteen years old.
Key features include:
| Pedroia Fit on Select Models | A narrower wrist opening and shorter finger stalls for smaller hands. |
| DP and PF Model Codes | These prefixes mark the Pedroia Fit models, like DP15 and PF1892. |
| Sizes From 11 to 12.5 Inches | The PF11 runs 11 inches; the 1750 outfield model runs 12.5. |
| Models for Every Position | Wilson builds A1000 gloves for infield, outfield, pitcher, catcher and first base. |
