The Gait Torque is a throwback offensive head designed for the sport’s top midfielders. It’s legal at the NFHS and youth levels too, so it’s also a great choice for beginner players looking for a strong and durable offensive head. The head is the first from Gait to feature Gait Canted Technology, specifically designed to maximize offset by gradually lowering the bottom rail. The bottom rail is also flattened to optimize pocket customization near the throat and top of the head. The head also features a flat, stiff scoop to provide great stiffness and durability on ground balls. The head also features inside rib support to create unmatched strength and stiffness by adding more plastic to the piece in between the upper and lower sidewall.

One of Gait’s best known heads to date is the Torque. It's also one of the most advanced heads of its time, featuring "Gait Canted Technology." This head has one of the most curved scoops in the game. Ground balls with the Torque are a breeze, thanks to the deep angle of the scoop. The Torque also features a super narrow face shape, making it an all around great fit for elite middies. With its innovative sidewall and face shape design, stringing this head to your preference is not difficult. * The stiffness of the head took some time to get used to, and it affected my cradle and shooting a bit

This head is amazing. It's designed for the elite offensive shooter. The first generation was a top-selling head for 4 years, and the 2.0 brings a lot of updates. It’s very narrow so the head has a ton of ball control, and it has a refined scoop to make picking up balls a lot easier. I like how it strings, it has a ton of sidewall holes so you can make your pocket how you like it. It does just about everything, it shoots well, and the passing is good. It's my favorite offensive head I've ever tried.

* I like this head - it's light and performs great. But, it's too fragile. I've had two breaks in 8 months at the throat. If it were more durable, it'd be the best ever.
* Used this new lacrosse head in college practice and after 7-8 months it cracked near the throat. Love the color and design but not perfect yet.
* It's been working okay for me. Was not easy at first to string the right pocket.

Offensive midfielders really like the 2.0 because you can shoot well with it, you can pass well with it, and it has a lot of control. Compared to the first model, it has a new scoop to make it lighter and more durable. It has a ton of sidewall options for stringing different patterns. Ned Crotty from the PLL Chrome uses this head as a two-way midfielder.
