The shaft has a Double Concave design with a ridged grip, and is built with durable and responsive eLasTech Carbon Composite technology. Featuring a mid-kick point, which allows for quicker shot loading, the Supreme Power Dual Taper shaft gets thinner towards the blade. The Dual-Density Pure Shot blade is wrapped with eLasTech Carbon Composite to promote strength without losing puck feel, and to facilitate more consistent shooting.

### Expert Notes

The TotalOne NXG stick offers a pro-inspired Supreme Power Shaft that has double concave walls for maximum power and feel. Even though this stick is a Supreme stick, the kick is closer to a mid-flex stick with a Power dual taper. Great for one timers on the powerplay, this stick offers the power you need to beat any tendy. Even though it’s a few years old at this point, this twig is still used by star NHL players like William Nylander. Many big name guys though will play with older sticks such as the NXG wrapped as newer twigs. The secret? Keep your eyes peeled for the NXG stick code: W03D. Bauer combined technologies from other top-end Bauer lines to create a superior stick in the Nexus 1000. The Power Profile Dual Taper of the stick maximizes energy transfer to the blade and keeps the blade square for increased power and accuracy. The shaft is a True Mid Flex design that features TeXtreme and Monocomp carbon fiber construction found in the Vapor APX line. The Power Core 3 blade from the TotalONE line maximizes puck feel and expertly absorbs impacts while keeping the stick stable for more heightened control. The low taper on this stick provides quicker releases on shots and a stiffer mid-section makes this stick a favorite among snipers. 

### Expert Notes

The more square-shaped shaft of the Nexus 1000 stick is the first difference you’ll notice with the Nexus line, which allows for a slightly wider grip and traditional feel. This design and shape seems to work really well for anyone with large hands. The 1000 has a firm feel starting around the bottom hand, and seems to be a bit softer up at the top of the shaft. This seems to create a strong flex point around the middle of the stick and these sticks feel sturdy all the way through, so you can really lean into any shot you’re taking.
