Key advancements include:

  • Dual-density foam liner: Enhanced comfort and impact protection compared to the single-layer liner found in earlier models.

  • Improved ventilation: Better airflow helps to keep the player cooler during gameplay.
👍 Pros
It's a solid helmet for my kid. I had to adjust it a bit, but since it was fitted correctly, it's been great. He loves it.
Great fit for my large head, and it feels snug when playing. Makes it feel like I’m not wearing a helmet with how light it is.
This is a nice helmet. You get a pro look and a single-point tool-free adjustment for a low price. The VN foam liner is soft and hugs your head.
👎 Cons
The sweat flows straight down to the eyes.
I‘ve noticed the padding has deflated a bit over a couple hours of wearing it.
Fit is weird, hard to size correctly and heavy.
The Tacks 210 is a solid choice for the intermediate to advanced player looking for a comfortable and protective helmet. The dual-density foam liner is a nice touch, providing a balance of comfort and impact protection. The fit system is easy to adjust and really locks the helmet in place. Unlike traditional side-latch systems ( where you adjust front-to-rear), the rear system on the 210 adjusts in three dimensions for a great fit every time. It's not the lightest helmet out there, but it's definitely not a brick. Overall, the 210 offers great value for the price.
