This mitt has been: — Taken apart and deep cleaned on the inside and out. — The leather was reconditioned, allowing 2 days for the conditioner to soak into the leather. __ The entire inside of the mitt was reconstructed using Pittards Deer Hide Leather, which is what Rawlings uses in all of its Pro Preferred Mitts and Gloves. _ Then the binder was replaced around the wrist opening using Kip Leather. _ New moisture wicking faux fur was sewn into the wrist to keep sweat from running inside the mitt. — Then new felt padding was put into the thumb and pinky areas and adjusted into their original slots and sewn in. — Forquer's Glove Adhesive was used to bring both pieces of Kip leather back together to form a new pocket. - A new finger pad was sewn into the index finger area to provide extra protection. — Finally, the gloves were relaced using the proprietary Rawlings/Tannery Copper Tanned and Oiled Laces 1/4" thick throughout the entire glove to give it long, lasting durability. The glove will need to be broken in.
