This is my favorite defensive head by far. It has a wider face than the first generation to make knocking passes down and transition that much easier. The head is incredibly stiff and holds its shape a lot longer and better than other defensive heads. I used this head through all 5 years of college, and the 2.0 is on both sticks I use right now for my men’s league. It's really durable, and you can throw up a lot of hard checks. It will for sure cause some pain when you use it.

* This helmet is perfect and super comfortable. It feels really snug on my head and neck. I also really like the quick clip, unlike the other xrs. The magnet only releases when pulled down. Easy to put on with gloves.

* I am using it as a goalie and I have no complaints. Fits true to size, feels amazing, and looks great.

CONS: 



* Love the Cascade helmets, but wish they had a size in between Youth and Adult. My son has just about outgrown his youth helmet, and this adult helmet says he should fit, but the adult is still too large.
* Considering the price it is better if you are pursuing higher levels and not necessarily for those who are just starting. It is a little difficult to adjust the straps yourself so I would recommend having someone like a coach, teammate, friend, etc help
* Pricey, especially if you customize it.

Offensive midfielders really like the 2.0 because you can shoot well with it, you can pass well with it, and it has a lot of control. Compared to the first model, it has a new scoop to make it lighter and more durable. It has a ton of sidewall options for stringing different patterns. Ned Crotty from the PLL Chrome uses this head as a two-way midfielder.
