ECD Lacrosse DNA Heads

ECD's DNA is a reliable head known for its durability and warp resistance, thanks to FlexForm plastic. The DNA features strategic weight reduction while maintaining stiffness, making it ideal for offense, midfield, and defense. This head offers a dependable option for any player, reflecting ECD's commitment to inclusivity in the sport.

Perfect head for:
Defensive players, particularly long sticks and close defenders seeking a head to disrupt offensive plays.

Key features include:

FlexForm material helps eliminate warping.
Flowing geometry retains the shape of the head.
Optimized flex points for control.
Designed for maximum durability.

Top Competitors

The Maverik Tactik leans towards a slightly deeper pocket and a wider face, prioritizing offensive prowess with a stronger hold for dodges and powerful shots. Conversely, the STX Stallion features a stiffer pocket and a more traditional face shape, striking a balance between power and control, making it suitable for both offensive and defensive situations.

Progression of the ECD Lacrosse DNA

The DNA lacrosse head series features two models: DNA and DNA 2.0. Here's a breakdown of their progression.

DNA
  • FlexForm material helps eliminate warping.
  • Flowing geometry retains the shape of the head.
  • Optimized flex points for control.
  • Designed for maximum durability.
DNA 2.0
  • A refined design that advances the anti-warping FlexForm plastic.
  • Updated material to reduce weight while maintaining stiffness.
👍 Pros
The DNA is ultra-stiff and doesn't warp. One of the best LSM heads ever made.
So stiff, and great scoop. Ultimate run-and-gun LSM head.
Incredibly versatile head that is (surprise, surprise) easy to string.
👎 Cons
As an attackman, lighter is better and the DNA's a bit clunky.
Stiffness =/ durability. Won't warp but beware of breakage.
A tad pricy compared to other models on the market.
I've used the DNA in both box lacrosse and as a defensive head. It's great for an attackman or midfielder. But I do not think it's a fit for defense, as it starts to flex when you throw poke checks. It's very easy to string and is excellent for any level of player. All in all, I feel the DNA is a great lacrosse head.
