ECD Lacrosse DNA 2.0 Lacrosse Head

The DNA 2.0 enhances the legendary DNA series, known for its versatility and performance. Made from proprietary FlexForm plastic, it maintains shape and resists warping under heavy use. The lightweight, stiff design makes it suitable for attackers, midfielders, and defenders. It features ECD's Elite pocket, ensuring consistent, accurate release with minimal break-in time.

Perfect head for:
All positions from attack to close defense.

Key features include:

FlexForm Plastic maintains shape and improves durability.
Refined and optimized shape reduces the DNA 2.0’s overall weight while pushing the limits of durability and strength.
ECD proudly designs, tests, and manufactures the DNA 2.0 in the USA.

Top Competitors

The STX Stallion 1K reigns supreme in raw power generation thanks to its aggressive mid-high pocket and wider face shape. While this excels in forceful shots, it might compromise some control in finesse plays. The Nike L3 strikes a balanced approach with its mid-pocket suitable for both powerful shots and controlled passing. This versatility makes it adaptable to various offensive situations.

Progression of the ECD Lacrosse DNA 2.0

The DNA lacrosse head series features two models: DNA and DNA 2.0. Here's a breakdown of their progression:

DNA
  • FlexForm material helps eliminate warping.
  • Flowing geometry retains the shape of the head.
  • Optimized flex points for control.
  • Designed for maximum durability.
DNA 2.0
  • A refined design that advances the anti-warping FlexForm plastic.
  • Updated material to reduce weight while maintaining stiffness.
👍 Pros
The DNA 2 is the most versatile head ever produced. It’s awesome for anyone but a face-off guy and a goalie.
If you’re an all-around middie it will work really well. It’s by far the most versatile head on the market.
The best head for precise shooting and consistent accuracy with a narrow face shape and mid pocket.
👎 Cons
I prioritize a super lightweight feel, and this head is slightly heavier than I expected.
It's still on the heavier side of elite heads... and a little stiff at first.
I had to spend some time breaking this head in before I could use it on the field.
The DNA provides the best stiffness but is also super lightweight. I play defense, and it takes really hard slap checks. It's also the perfect shape—not too wide and ideal for transition. It's also really good for groundballs.
