Bauer Nexus Geo Hockey Sticks
The Bauer Nexus Geo hockey stick enhances the Nexus line's versatility for all-around players. It features ER Spine technology, a unique five-sided shaft that reduces weight while maintaining durability, resulting in a well-balanced stick. The Nexus Geo also incorporates Advanced Carbon Layering technology for improved pop and feel during shooting and passing.
Key features include:
ER Spine Technology | A 5-sided shaft design that uses less carbon fiber while maintaining strength and stiffness. |
Hybrid Kick Point | Supported by the ER Spine technology, this is ideal for versatile players who do it all, from tight shots near the net to powerful slap shots. |
Advanced Carbon Layering | Reduces overall stick weight to just 390 grams, helping players improve speed and performance. |
Monocomp Technology | Improves balance and puck control by distributing weight evenly throughout the stick. |
Asymmetrical TeXtreme Technology | A layering process that optimizes energy transfer throughout the stick, maximizing power shots. |
Omni-Core Blade | Technology which adds stability, reducing blade fatigue and allowing for a quicker release on your shots. |

The Nexus Geo offers a versatile balance between power and quick releases while the JetSpeed FT5 Pro leans slightly more towards quicker releases within a similar hybrid flex point range. The Catalyst 9X is noted for its lightweight construction and a mid-kick with a focus on responsiveness, while it might not be the strongest option for pure power. Ultimately, the Nexus Geo and JetSpeed FT5 Pro cater to balanced players, while the Catalyst 9X shines for those who value elite maneuverability and quick releases.
Progression of the Bauer Nexus Geo
The Bauer Nexus Geo was preceded by the Bauer Nexus 2N Pro. The Nexus Geo features a few upgrades from its predecessor:
- Shaft: The new ER Spine shaft technology removes excess layers of carbon from the key loading zone, optimizing energy transfer through the stick for quick, controlled shots.
- Reduced weight: While the Nexus 2N Pro weighs in at 410 grams, thanks to advanced carbon layering the Nexus Geo comes in at only 390 grams.
- Blade: With its new Omni-Core blade technology, the Nexus Geo boasts a more stable, durable blade while ensuring a fast release.

Great stick and gets the job done. The 5 side grip works wonders. |
Light, great pop, and the 5 sides shaft is easy to adjust to. |
The Geo is so cool. It can totally snipe and drop clap bombs from anywhere on the ice. |
👎 Cons |
---|
It broke after the first 40 days on a soft pass. |
Not durable whatsoever, feels too light.m |
Stick continues to break down on the inside. Leaving glue particles and other debris. |
The Nexus Geo is very similar to the Supreme UltraSonic; it utilizes the new shaft geometry technology to amplify and maximize its performance for the mid-kick point family. The Nexus Geo has a spine tech design with five and a half sides instead of four. It's designed to maximize feel but support mid-kick point control without making it feel soft in the middle.
