The more square-shaped shaft of the Nexus 1000 stick is the first difference you’ll notice with the Nexus line, which allows for a slightly wider grip and traditional feel. This design and shape seems to work really well for anyone with large hands. The 1000 has a firm feel starting around the bottom hand, and seems to be a bit softer up at the top of the shaft.
