Another addition to the Super Tacks twig is a stiffer hosel area, combined with a softer upper handle. 

CCM's patented Bumper Tech is another feature carried over into the latest Super Tacks stick design. Bumper Tech reinforces the edges of a stick's shaft, which helps fortify the stick to better withstand impacts and prevent micro-fractures from spreading throughout the stick.

### Expert Notes

The RibCor lineup continues to get better and this stick is a ton of fun in all areas of the game. The RibCor Trigger 2 PMT stick has a very identifiable kick point. It releases low in the shaft, and has great feel when ripping snap shots or passes. The shaft has a nice taper and change in shape as it moves towards the blade, which contributes to the soft, flexy release. If you’re a toe shooter, the combo of the lower flex point combined with a stiffer toe and strong blade will complement each other perfectly for your shooting style.

You can thank the 40K’s low-mid kick point for the quick release. In addition, the RibCor 40K offers excellent control and accuracy thanks to its stiff SXX2 blade. The 40K also features a high power taper ratio, meaning it’s stiffer up top and on the bottom of the stick in relation to the front and back of the shaft. This orientation helps keep the stick straight, resulting in less twisting on shots. If you’re in the market for a twig that will offer you a very direct power transfer, be sure to consider the RibCor 40K.

### Expert Notes

The shaft has a slightly rounded shape and feels comfortable in your hands, especially when you’re handling the puck. In addition, it has a nice texture which serves as a bit of a grip without being sticky or tacky. The blade is similar to many other sticks in the RibCor line, in that it is quite soft and has nice puck feel. RibCor 40K sticks are priced very well balanced, and do not feel bottom-heavy at all.

RBZ Speedburner

### Product Description

The RBZ SpeedBurner from CCM borrows technology from popular golf club manufacturer TaylorMade Golf. The golf club technology helps the RBZ SpeedBurner achieve an extremely low swing weight, which is a highly sought after concept when it comes to golf clubs. The concept of swing speed  as it pertains to golf clubs also applies to hockey sticks. CCM’s goal with the RBZ SpeedBurner was to achieve the optimal weight distribution that will result in a balanced stick with a smooth and fast swing (or shot) motion. Similar to its predecessors, the SpeedBurner has a constant flex profile in the shaft. This gives each player a custom kick point that is determined by the placement of their lower hand.

### Expert Notes

These twigs are decked out a little differently with respect to graphics, showing off a red base with white and red decals. The blades are super zippy and transfer a ton of energy from the load up to the puck release. The puck comes off the blade super smoothly, and the shaft has a silky feel that allows your hands to move easily along the stick without slipping, so you’re always in control. If you’re looking for a twig with a little more zip, we’d recommend trying out the RBZ Speedburner.

RBZ Stage 2

The original CCM RBZ stick featured a custom kick point. Prior to the OG CCM RBZ, a custom kick point was not something that was very widespread. CCM engineered a flex profile that changed and adapted to the location of a player's bottom hand. Another feature of the RBZ is its  hollow and foamless SpeedBlade. This blade design gives players amazing pop on their shots. For the RBZ Stage 2, CCM teamed up with golf manufacturer TaylorMade to create the SpeedBlade 2. This redesigned blade increases C.O.R. (Coefficient of Restitution) by 20% compared to the original SpeedBlade. This translates to a more efficient energy transfer from the puck to the blade. If you’re looking for speed behind your shots, the RBZ Stage 2 is a great option.

RBZ Superfast

The RBZ Superfast was named for its speed; it’s one of the lightest sticks made to date by the CCM. Borrowing speed pocket technology from golf manufacturer TaylorMade, the RBZ offers not only a wider speed channel than prior RBZ models, but adds power speed technology to help deliver better distribution throughout the stick’s composite construction. Additionally, its custom kick point is built to react to the positioning of your bottom hand, which makes the RBZ a highly customizable -- and therefore lethal -- offensive choice.

### Expert Notes

When they were first released, RBZ Superfast sticks were used by many players in the show. These can still be scooped up on SidelineSwap, for an unreal price at that. The best quality of these twigs is how zippy the blade is, especially on quick snapshots. The puck feels like it’s popping right off the blade, and no area of the blade feels like it’s giving way or that it’s too soft. There’s no reverberations or vibrations throughout the stick whether you’re receiving passes or taking one-timers.
