The Super Tacks AS-V Pro boasts a high mid-kick flex with a charged kick zone for maximum power. The Nexus Sync offers a similar high mid-kick, but strikes a balance between power and responsiveness for more controlled shots. Progression of the CCM Tacks AS-V
The Tacks AS-V was preceded by the AS-4, and features a few upgrades over its predecessor:
- Sigmatex: The AS-V utilizes Sigmatex carbon fiber throughout the stick for the first time in this series to create a stronger, more durable yet lightweight stick.
- Acufeel Blade: This redesigned blade creates a lighter, more responsive blade with great puck feel.
- V-Shape shaft: This new shaft geometry ensures a better feel in your hands for more controlled plays.

The AS-V is very light and flexible. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs a more powerful shot. |
Durable and light with a quick release point. I'm on my second one and it does not disappoint. |
The square shaft with rounded corners feels great in the hands. |

Broke after one week out of the box, not pleased. |
On the heel of the stick it started to crack after my warranty was up. |
I don't love the textured grip. Wears on my gloves to the point where there is a hole in the thumb already! |
The AS-V feel is solid. The 5-sided bottom provides great grip when you move your bottom hand down for more lively passes/shots. The 65 flex feels more like 70-75 in other sticks so I would recommend going down 10 flex from your normal preference. Overall, very solid and versatile stick.
