The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

True Skates by Scott Van Horn are evolutionary in skate design with new technologies. The TRUE Monoform design allows for increased power transfer for stronger strides and more edge control with a forward tilt that keeps the knees always leaning forward. These skates are custom made with 3D Thermoforming to the player’s foot, eliminating dead space and loss of energy. A tough exterior protects the foot while the TRUE Toecap provides extended protection and comfort with a Monocoque shell. An Antimicrobial and Hydrophobic liner keeps the foot dry and ventilation holes allow for increased airflow to enhance comfort. StepSteel Canadian blades allow for smooth gliding while TRUE’s BenchChange technology allows for quick blade replacements using just a simple tool.

Any player who has experimented and played with top-of-the-line skates from a variety of brands will tell you that True VH skates are hands down some of the best yet. As far as a custom fitting boot, these exceed any other skate by far. There are no pressure points or pinching areas anywhere in the skate that could not be corrected with a mold. The fit alone produces an unbelievable feel and response on the ice and it’s not surprising why the presence of these wheels continues to increase at the professional level.
