* These skates are like an extension of my feet. The custom-fitting process means almost no break-in period. The comfort level is incredible, and I can skate for hours without any pain or discomfort.
* The boot is super responsive and allows for maximum energy transfer in my strides.  The heat-moldable option lets you customize the flex profile to your liking, which is a game-changer.
* The skates feel incredibly lightweight, which helps with agility and maneuverability.  Despite the lightweight build, the materials seem very durable. I've been using them for a season now, and they're still holding up great.

CONS:



* These skates are definitely an investment. The custom fitting process adds to the cost, which might not be feasible for everyone.
* The custom fitting process takes time, and there can be a waitlist to get your skates made.  If you need skates right away, this might not be the best option.
* While the custom fitting is great in theory, it might not be perfect for everyone.  Some users with very complex foot shapes might still experience some fit issues.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

* These skates are top-of-the-line. The composite boot provides incredible stiffness and responsiveness. My strides feel powerful, and the edges hold like nobody's business.  
* The TotalFit Pro+ liner with the asymmetrical tongue offers a fantastic, locked-in fit. The liner feels supportive and comfortable from the start, and the heat-molding capabilities allowed me to get a truly custom fit around my ankles and heels.
* Despite the stiffness for power transfer, the JetSpeed FT4 feels surprisingly lightweight.  The fit allows for good mobility in the ankle, and the boot design helps with quick turns and overall agility. 

CONS:



* These skates are expensive. While the performance is good, the price tag is only realistic for serious players or those with a professional budget. There are very good skates available at lower price points.
* Unfortunately after using these for less than a season, a puck from a shot hit the interior of the skate and created a huge crack in the "one piece boot". I was shocked at how easily these skates split open.
* These skates needed a longer break-in period than I expected, especially compared to other JetSpeed models I’ve tried. It took them a few weeks of use before the skates felt truly comfortable.

Many people compare the FT4 Pro to the HyperLite, but the FT4 has much more power. It's an incredibly powerful skate, and the fit is perfect. I would do my stride in the FT4 Pro and realized pretty quickly that I needed to watch out! I'm not used to the power. You see a lot of NHL players still using the FT4 Pro. I'll see a player going really fast and think wow, look at that. Oh yeah, they are wearing the JetSpeed FT4 Pro.

### Product Description

Maintaining the Jetspeed style but with significant upgrades, CCM Jetspeed Control skates offer enhanced performance with exclusive style and comfort. The heat moldable tight-heel fit increases comfort and durability, while the boot widens towards the toe to provide more wiggle room (particularly for players with wider than average feet). The skate is lined with SpeedCore2 foam, which molds to the foot. The liner also features TotalDri technology to help wick away moisture. The Tri-Tech felt tongue and Smooth Contour Comfort Pro Pads allow for maximum protection without excessive weight. Lastly, the SpeedBlade skate steel is perfectly balanced for superior edge control in composite JetSpeed390 holders, designed for enhanced stiffness and better power transfer.

These wheels have a sweet look, and are comparable to the higher end Jetspeed FT1 skates from CCM. With an all black contoured boot, complemented by low-key red and white flare along the sides and back of the tendon guard. In terms of performance, they are comfortable and are quite form-fitting. The soft tongue and narrower heel pocket helps to keep the foot steady, without any noticeable pressure points. All in all: these skates offer a lot of comfort and a sharp look at a mid-range price.
