PROS:



* These skates offer a lot of bang for your buck! The one-piece boot is stiff and responsive, providing excellent power transfer for strong strides. They come with the top-of-the-line SpeedBlade XS runners which offer great edge control. For the price point, they feel like a true pro-level skate.
* The Jetspeed FT6 skates are surprisingly comfortable, even for a high-performance model. The liner is thermoformable, which allows for a customized fit around my ankle for better pressure point distribution and overall comfort.
* You get what you pay for. This high-end CCM is perfect for me. I spent about 2 hours trying to find the perfect fit for my feet; the FT6 was it for me. On the ice, this shines even more.

CONS



* They feel heavy on the feet. I have to get used to how heavy they are... I came from wearing the super light Mach supremes every day, so it’s a big difference.
* While the Game Ready Fit helps, there is a break-in period of a few weeks due to the stiffness of the boot. I’m still having some minor discomfort around the ankles.
* Before you purchase make sure the holders are straight!

The FT6 Pro is basically the FT4 Pro on steroids. It offers really, really good speed and a bit better comfort than the FT4 Pro. It also has more flexibility and memory foam to prevent lace bite, and it addresses range-of-motion issues. This skate offers speed, power, and a good range of motion. You can really dig in and get that power and still go with the angles.

* These skates are definitely an investment. The custom fitting process adds to the cost, which might not be feasible for everyone.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

These jets are among the most stylish looking skates on the market right now, and are recommended for elite level players. The black runner steel is a crowd favorite, because it holds an edge longer than standard steel tends to. You can clearly see when there are nicks in the blade, so it won’t be hard for you to figure out when they need to be replaced. These blades are also incredibly lightweight, and you’ll notice this right away when you pick them up. As you would expect with a top-of-the-line boot, they’re very stiff. AS1 skates also don’t have an outsole, so this combined with the stiffness allows for unreal foot control.
