Bauer Vapor APX skates are built for speed with their lightweight yet strong design that does not sacrifice comfort or hinder performance. The X-Rib boot design provides support and stability for quicker turns and easier acceleration while the Alice Carbon Composite exterior provides protection and offers a heat-moldable fit. The Form-Fit 3 tongue with lace bite protection protects the metatarsal while the Ultra lightweight vented Carbon Composite outsole provides responsive foot movement. The interior Hydra-Max 2 liner keeps the feet dry and cool while the Form-Fit+ footbed adds toe protection and reduces slippage. The Tuuk LightSpeed 2 holders are redesigned with a reduced weight and the Tuuk LS Fusion runners deliver power and speed with every stride.

### Expert Notes

The APX skate is the first in the Vapor family to offer X-Rib boot construction, which made these  the lightest vapor skates made when they were first released. Bauer took light to a new level by offering TUUK LS Fusion steel that is 27 percent lighter than competitor materials, and makes this skate feel extra fast when you’re out their trying to wheel past d-men. The molded tongue features an external metatarsal guard to help protect you against any lace bite.
