In the 44K skate, CCM took old Reebok technologies and created an upgraded new line of skates. The classic pump has been upgraded to the CCM Advanced Pump for a custom fit which can be adjusted on the fly. These skates are also heat moldable for increased comfort and a better overall fit, while the Ribcor Flex boot construction provides lightweight protection with a slightly forward angle that puts players in the attack stance. The foot is kept dry with a Dual Zone Lightweight Tricot interior liner while the Two-Piece High Density Felt Tongue provides comfortable protection around the ankle. The SpeedBlade 4.0 holder is taller than traditional skates for more power and tighter turns, while the SpeedBlade Stainless Steel runners maintain a sharper edge for longer.
