If you skate ten times a week with these skates, they will only last you a little while, maybe a month or two. However, the main thing is that there is no quick or easy release for the metal runners or the blades. Many players look for skates with a metal release, which will let them swap out their blades. The more you sharpen them, the thinner they get. And in this case, you'd have to replace the whole bottom, the holder. It's more intensive than just clicking a button and adding new blades. But really, a solid skate for those who don’t skate every day.

The AS-570 is in a good state. You have the ankle-locking memory foam and it offers a lot of power and comfort. This skate might not be as durable as other comparable models. It doesn't have the same high-end materials as the 5 Pro, but the AS-570 has a really good anatomical fit. It's a great skate if you don't really need the pro-level durability because you might only be skating on the weekends, but you still want something decent.

* I am worried about the blade holder system. They come with plastic insert. Took out and tried to put in V-Steel. Could not get to go in.

The padding really secures the ankle and foot while keeping the flexibility to turn and move. CCM OrthoMove Custom Support Insoles allow a personalized fit and increased energy transfer while a re-designed TriTech Flex tongue with injected foam offers mobile protection. These jets are among the most stylish looking skates on the market right now, and are recommended for elite level players. The black runner steel is a crowd favorite, because it holds an edge longer than standard steel tends to. You can clearly see when there are nicks in the blade, so it won’t be hard for you to figure out when they need to be replaced. These blades are also incredibly lightweight, and you’ll notice this right away when you pick them up. As you would expect with a top-of-the-line boot, they’re very stiff. Aesthetically, this skate is a fan favorite among hockey players who aren’t ashamed to say they care about the look of their gear. JetSpeed FT1 skates are praised for their black contoured boot with subtle red accents. This look is clean and sharp, and is very similar to Bauer’s 1X LE skate. These wheels have a sweet look, and are comparable to the higher end Jetspeed FT1 skates from CCM. With an all black contoured boot, complemented by low-key red and white flare along the sides and back of the tendon guard. In terms of performance, they are comfortable and are quite form-fitting. The soft tongue and narrower heel pocket helps to keep the foot steady, without any noticeable pressure points. All in all: these skates offer a lot of comfort and a sharp look at a mid-range price.
