* These skates offer a lot of bang for your buck! The one-piece boot is stiff and responsive, providing excellent power transfer for strong strides. They come with the top-of-the-line SpeedBlade XS runners which offer great edge control. For the price point, they feel like a true pro-level skate.
* The Jetspeed FT6 skates are surprisingly comfortable, even for a high-performance model. The liner is thermoformable, which allows for a customized fit around my ankle for better pressure point distribution and overall comfort.
* You get what you pay for. This high-end CCM is perfect for me. I spent about 2 hours trying to find the perfect fit for my feet; the FT6 was it for me. On the ice, this shines even more.

The FT6 Pro is basically the FT4 Pro on steroids. It offers really, really good speed and a bit better comfort than the FT4 Pro. It also has more flexibility and memory foam to prevent lace bite, and it addresses range-of-motion issues. This skate offers speed, power, and a good range of motion. You can really dig in and get that power and still go with the angles.

The padding along the backhand is designed to move as you move, which promotes better flexibility all around. HG12s feature durable PU in their exterior, and HD foam and PE inserts combine to provide a lightweight, ultra protective experience. 

The palms of the HG12 gloves are reinforced to increase durability, but they’re still incredibly soft to provide you great comfort and feel while you’re stick handling or shooting. For increased mobility and better hold on your stick, the HG12’s feature a segmented KFS lock thumb.

HG12 gloves are extremely comfortable and perfectly tailored to the shape of any player’s hand. Initially, you may find that these gloves are slightly restrictive; however, it should only take about a week to break them in and get used to them. The extended wrist cuff moves independently from the rest of the glove, which allows for a full range of motion while offering tons of forearm protection. If you wear smaller elbow pads, HG12 gloves could be a good option for you to make up for the lack of protection from your elbow pads. The palms of these gloves are insanely comfortable, and hold up extremely well against wear and tear.

* The one-piece boot and carbon construction are super stiff and really transfer energy into your strides. My slapshot has gotten noticeably harder since I switched to these skates. Plus, the Powerflex tendon allows for a full range of motion for powerful strides.
* By far the most comfortable skate/boot I've ever put my feet into...like warm melted butter.
* For a high-performance stiff boot, these skates are surprisingly lightweight and maneuverable. The Step Steel blades are sharp and give you excellent edge control. They helped me improve my agility on the ice.

CONS:



* These skates are definitely at the top end of the price range. They're a great skate, but you're paying for the premium features and performance.
* These are very stiff skates designed for powerful strides. They require a lot of leg strength to use effectively.
* The stock laces that come with the skates are just okay. I replaced them with a higher quality waxed lace for a better fit and feel. This seems like a minor detail on a high-end skate.

The AS-V Pro offers a close, professional fit, and a lot of power. I really love the quick acceleration. The number one thing with this skate is comfort. The padding really secures the ankle and foot while keeping the flexibilityity to turn and move. The tongue has a funky design, but it allows you to get a full range of motion without feeling insecure in the skate or like it's going to fall off or wobble.
