### Product Description 

Loaded with upgrades from the V4 model, Vaughn Velocity V5 goalie pads offer high level performance for goaltenders of all skill levels. With full Pro Spec construction and specifications, these pads offer new Flex-Pac internal foam, which allows for enhanced flexion with a better feel. Molded knee and thigh guards add more protective coverage while Dual knee straps with selectable buckle locations offer a custom fit for better pad positioning. A wider knee and leg cradle allows for a more ergonomic knee position for less stress on the knees and hips. This also allows for quicker five-hole closure and better lateral mobility. An improved scoop angle and taper makes the pad sit taller on the leg for increased balance and ice clearance.

### Expert Notes

Velocity V5 Pads are an extremely reputable model from Vaughan, and it’s no surprise why. These pads are extremely durable and have been known to last goalies well over five years with no signs of major wear and tear. They are also one of the easiest models to switch over to and get used to playing with right away, as they require little to no tailoring or modification. The calf wraps and inside knee pads are very mobile and move independently, which contributes to these pads being flexible while also being protective on the inner, outer, and back of the leg.
