**CONS**

-   My son loved this bat from day one. After three weeks of use the plastic piece where the shaft meets the barrel cracked. Definitely expect something better than this for $450. Haven't started the warranty process yet so we'll see how that goes.
    
-   The bat handle now telescopes into the barrel after the junction cracked. We had expected better quality for the price and it's hard to accept a replacement that arrives 2-3 weeks later at best.

The Goods is a top performer and the 2024 model is the most expensive hybrid bat on the market. It's an end loaded bat for that power hitter in your lineup. The alloy is strong, and it has a good whip to it. Overall, The Goods is in the top five in the hybrids for both BBCOR and youth. * This bat is one of the best options available for young players. It is USA-regulated and commonly used in little league. It offers excellent control and feel and has a large sweet spot for hitting home runs.
* I bought a new bat for my son a month ago since he had outgrown his old one. The new bat is longer and heavier, and he's happy with it. His game has improved since he started using it.
* Marucci's bat is lightweight, durable, and has an old-school sound when solid contact is made. My son has been hitting great with it.

* I like Marucci bats, but this is the 3rd time I've bought one that's heavier than listed. Bought a 28" 17 oz 2022 USA Cat for my 8 y/o son, but it weighed 19.3 oz. Will keep trying with Marucci, but they all tend to be heavier than listed.
* Purchased a 29” 18oz. bat, but it weighed 20.3 oz.
* I bought this product for my son and when I asked him to rate it, he gave it four stars. He explained that he didn't give it five stars because he feels too much vibration upon hits and it doesn't have the best pop.

With a 270 degree engineered hitting zone, the Avenge is designed for maximum performance, strength, and durability. The perfect combination of power and speed, the Avenge utilizes carbon hyperwhip end cap technology to reduce weight distribution at the end of the baseball bat and a vibration canceling system (VCS) to reduce hand vibrations for a smoother shock absorbing swing. Added in 2019, the 3-piece composite bat construction and the charged carbon barrel provides improved performance along the length of the barrel in addition to a lighter swinging bat that feels smoother on mishits. ### Export Notes

Early in the lineup hitters, as well as the occasional power guy, will like this bat’s performance. If you thought the Axe Avenge via 2018 swung a bit too heavy for you then it would be time to reconsider the 2019 version. The latest model features a lighter swing weight. All in all, the 2019 Avenge is a lighter swinging bat with a larger usable barrel size and a smoother feel on mishits. These differences are in large part due to changes in the composite make up (to a "charged carbon") that allows for longer performance along the length of the barrel.
