The Easton ADV 360 is a two-piece composite bat. It has a light swing and big barrel. Perfect for the younger hitter. I think it is popular because of the paint job, which is bright neon yellow. It is more of a look than a performance bat, but still a very good bat that doesn’t have a huge amount of breakage. It's an average bat for either Little League or USSSA.

* A kid in a slump hit his first-ever home run with this bat. It arrived just in time for a playoff game and worked great for my average-sized 11-year-old son - not too heavy.
* After breaking in this bat properly, it really performs well! My son uses it for our USSSA 8U Travel team and you can easily tell when it's hit on the sweet spot. The bat is also forgiving on mis-hits, often resulting in faster grounders than usual (for this age group) and very high pop.
* This bat has more pop than most USA bats, similar to BBCOR/USSA. We broke it in with tee hits, and my son hit missiles and balls over the fence on the first day. Expensive, but worth it for avid players.

**CONS**



* Great indoor results with the new non-Easton bat during coach pitch pre-season. Disappointing mid-season pop-up infield hits. I've always used Easton before, won't try other brands again.
* Great pop, but poor performance when missing sweet spot. Treated with care, but still cracked in Apr. Son upset I didn't allow use in cold weather, with heavy balls or pitching machines. It was mostly used as game bat last year, did not last into 2nd season.
* My son's bat barrel cracked after hitting his first HR, leaving him without a bat during All Stars and elimination series.

The DeMarini CF is a classic model that goes back to 2015 and offers one of the hottest models (2017) but is limited in use as its performance surpasses bat standards. Overall, the CF reflects a classic design which has been the same since 2015. A two-piece composite that offers a large barrel and sweet spot with a lightweight handle that creates a whip-like feel to it with the flexible connection between the handle and barrel.

Speed is indeed the name of the game for one of Easton’s flagship alloy bat series. The most recent 2022 Easton Speed bat has a one-piece composite construction, and
features the company’s Hyperlite material, which makes for an astonishingly fast swing. And while this release is beloved by us and others, many hitters have told me that
nothing beats the 2019 Easton Speed release, which became famous for its green handle, black barrel, and outstanding production at every level and age group. Regardless of which model you use, one thing is clear: hitters craft a special connection with their Easton Speed bats. Swinging a Speed might be all you need to accelerate your game.

### About the Louisville Slugger Prime 919

Louisville’s Slugger’s Prime 919 bat is BBCOR certified and one of the best performing two-piece composite bats on the market. With a large barrel and lighter swing weight, the Prime 919 is a balanced bat with a mix of power and speed. The longest lasting metal bat series on the market is still at its peak. Rawlings legendary Velo series returned in 2022, with a Velo ACP release that I’ve heard hitters say offers unparalleled balance at the plate. Over time, the Rawlings Velo series has evolved by incorporating the ACP (Accelerated Carbon Performance) line that adds extra carbon in the barrel, which we’ve heard does a lot to increase pop. While Velo’s aren’t the best looking bats you’re going to find, they make up for the plainness with top-notch performance. Rawlings’ resilient Velo series should continue to be a favorite for hard-nosed hitters who prefer production over flash.
