The Hype Fire is the hottest, lightest swinging bat right now. The swing rate is very fast. It's a balanced, two piece composite bat. The first ones that came out had some breakage issues but they are now on that bat's second gen. We've not seen any of the new ones breaking. And to top it all off, it has the coolest paint job. The flames are yellow, orange, and red. The players love that.

This USA bat is designed for little league or a pony leagues. It won't be a very high-performance bat and, in general, is designed for safety. Typically, your little leaguer, who uses the USA stamp, is a player at an entry-level ability. With that said, the Ghost X Hyperlite was one of the best available USA bats. But any USA bat is going to be a mediocre performer overall. The Ghost X Hyperlite is very lightweight and very easy to swing. Smaller players do well with it.

Speed is indeed the name of the game for one of Easton’s flagship alloy bat series. The most recent 2022 Easton Speed bat has a one-piece composite construction, and

### Product Description 

The Easton Z-Core features Lock and Load technology, which allows you to adjust your swing weight. There are three on-the-fly swing weight settings to choose from: Speed, Balanced, or XL. This makes the Z-Core bat a highly customizable option for different hitting styles. The Z-Core also features one of the longest aluminum barrels that you’ll find. Easton’s patented Hyperlite Matrix (HMX) alloy helps to deliver a huge sweet spot and an incredible amount of pop. Lastly, the handle features Easton's Hyperskin Grip to reduce vibration and provide a comfortable grip experience for hitters.

### Expert Notes

The 2016 Easton Z-Core is a single-piece aluminum alloy bat with a balanced swing. The Z-Core, not to be confused with the Z-Core Torq or Z-Core XL, incorporates an internal composite reinforcement along the length of its barrel. This gives the bat a considerably large barrel for a single-piece alloy. Easton often refers to this as ‘Mako-izing’ the bat which is a reference to the Easton Mako’s large barrel size.
