The Original Bulls Eye putter was designed in the 1940’s by John Reuter. After Reuter’s company was bought by the makers of Titleist golf equipment, Acushnet, the Bulls Eye design was one of the most successful for putters in the last half of the 20th century. The center shafted design was made to reduce twisting on off center hits to keep puts rolling true.
