Description

Original owner selling. This CF Zen Composite Bat 31/26 (-5) was bought brand new and only used for a single Spring Select Baseball season (~4 mo. - 5 mo. (Spring Baseball 2021). When making this purchase, we figured our son would get 2 or 3 seasons out of it before a growth spurt forced another bat purchase. We were not aware that the bat guidelines were changing from USSSA to BBCOR cert. once Spring 2021 came to a close. Bat Condition: Good Details: used for Spring Select (club travel) Team Baseball. At the end of Spring Ball 2021, the bat was retired to a bat hanger on the wall of my son's bedroom and is where it has remained for the next 3yrs. Wear: This Composite CF Zen 31/26(-5) Shows the type of wear one should expect from a season of ball played by a then 13yr old boy. There are some Knick's in the paint on the barrel. The knob and end cap have some wear due to being leaned up against the wall of a dugout waiting for its turn at the plate. Grip: the current grip is useable, but would recommend for the new owner to replace the grip with the new owners preferred grip tape. Performance: my son claims to this day that this CF Zen bat has had the most "pop" of ANY bat he's ever owned and he's had more bats than I have fingers and toes. My son typically lands somewhere between .400 and .500 avg. for a given season. He's only had 2 other season where he has finished with a higher avg. than the season and one of those was after Spring '21. when he used this bat and finished with a .444 season avg. please text me at five one two five six eight two two one zero.
