Quatro Pro Softball Bats

The Rawlings Quatro Pro is a two-piece composite bat favored by serious hitters for its exceptional pop and balanced swing weight. Its performance is driven by Quatro Technology, which features a redesigned inner barrel for a larger sweet spot. The stiff flex collar reduces barrel drag and minimizes vibration, providing a solid feel on contact and enhancing bat control for accurate swings.

Perfect bat for:
Fastpitch hitters looking for a powerful and controlled swing to dominate the competition.

Key features include:

Vibration Dampening TechReduces the sting on contact with the ball. This can improve comfort and control during the swing.
Focused FlexReconstructed collar assembly for a stiffer, focused flex eliminating barrel drag.
Ultimate Flex HingeThis hinge connects the barrel and handle. It’s designed to allow for more barrel flex during the swing.
Composite BarrelLighter than traditional bat materials like aluminum, allowing for faster swing speeds.
Flex Barrel Handle ConnectionIncreased flexibility can contribute to generating power and a larger sweet spot, giving you more forgiveness on off-center hits.

All three are two-piece composite bats with a large sweet spot. The Rawlings Quatro Pro prioritizes a powerful swing with a solid feel on contact, thanks to its redesigned inner barrel and a stiff flex collar for control. The DeMarini CF Zen offers a potentially softer feel with similar power potential, ideal for players who prefer more control and might be able to handle a softer swing. The Easton Ghost X caters to players who want power-hitting but need a lighter swing weight for control, offering a similar power balance to the Quatro Pro but with a lighter feel.

Progression of the Quatro Pro Softball Bats

First introduced in 2019, the Quatro Pro was released again in 2020. The upgrades feature a redesigned end cap to help bring down the swing weight and a new Lizard Skin grip that comes stock. Both years feature the same suspended inner barrel system with a focused flex connective piece.

👍 Pros
My 9 year old has used this bat for 3 weeks now and loves the pop. The bat weight is so balanced.
Bat took a few games to break in. Now, it’s got a great pop. My kids love this bat.
This bat has a lot of pop. My son plays travel and little league baseball so we are always struggling to find a good bat. This is definitely the best bat we have purchased.
👎 Cons
Hit less than a dozen balls before the handle broke off.
The sound inside the disc is not right. When you shake the bat, you can hear the disc moving around.
Noticed a rattle right away. After hitting a couple balls into the net there is no doubt something wrong.
Since the Quatro Pro isn't legal for most organized leagues anymore, it's a niche option with limited practicality for competitive play. However, if you can find a used one in good condition and you play in a league that allows older bats, or are looking for a hot bat for recreational play or batting practice, then the Quatro Pro is totally worth considering. The Quatro Pro was known for its large sweet spot and a balanced swing weight, making it a dream for contact hitters.
