Line Chronic skis have been well-known for over a decade as a freestyle park ski, but thanks to a redesign in 2019, Chronic skis now feature a wider footprint with increased rocker and flex for a new all-mountain experience. Still categorized as a freestyle ski, Chronic skis have a level of versatility that inspires freestyle fun and confidence all over the mountain. Featuring a unique 5-Cut Multi-Radius Sidecut, the Chronic allows for a variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel. The Sidewalls are constructed from ultra-high density Polyethylene to absorb negative vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. The Symmetric Flex utilizes the same flex pattern in the front and back of the boot to conform to terrain equally while riding forwards and backwards. Thin Tip construction in the tips and tails reduces swing weight while the TuffTop protects the skis from scratches and abuse.

Line Sir Francis Bacon skis are a wider all-mountain freestyle ski. One of Line’s most popular skis, the Sir Francis Bacon is an excellent fit for skiers who are looking to progress their skills in the park, and in the backcountry. 3D Convex Tip and Tail Technology adds convex contouring to improve the feel of the ski and improve overall control and float. The Sidewall Construction with ultra high-density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges helps absorb negative vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple in the core maintains the lightweight nature of these skis and creates the best strength-to-weight ratio. The Symmetrical Flex Pattern contributes to easy switch skiing and landings.

### Expert Notes

Sir Francis Bacon skis are the top all-mountain ski from Line. Capable of laying down some trenches on groomers while providing ample float when you find untouched pow stashes, the SFB’s have long been a staple for all-mountain freestyle skiers. A Partly Cloudy core with a fully symmetrical flex profile makes the SFB’s one of the lighter all-mountain skis on the market. Francis Bacons offer a playful ride in the soft stuff that allows you to ski switch, forwards, sideways or whatever way you want to get down the mountain. Being so light, however leaves something to be desired on the frontside for those who really like to lay down the hip and carve groomers.

### Expert Notes

The Supernatural skis feature a nice mix of all-mountain performance with big mountain capabilities. The Line Supernatural’s are stiff, hard-charging skis that give a damp, powerful and chatter free ride thanks to a Metal Matrix construction. The titanal laminate provides more power and grip when you need it on the frontside hard pack, while the rocker-camber-rocker profile gives a nice lift in deep snow. The Supernatural’s were bred to blast through crud, float through pow, and rail turns at Mach 1. With two different waist widths, the Supernatural offers a level of stability and versatility that is hard to match. Just another reason for you to join the one quiver ski trend.
