Line Sir Francis Bacon skis are a wider all-mountain freestyle ski. One of Line’s most popular skis, the Sir Francis Bacon is an excellent fit for skiers who are looking to progress their skills in the park, and in the backcountry. 3D Convex Tip and Tail Technology adds convex contouring to improve the feel of the ski and improve overall control and float. The Sidewall Construction with ultra high-density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges helps absorb negative vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple in the core maintains the lightweight nature of these skis and creates the best strength-to-weight ratio. The Symmetrical Flex Pattern contributes to easy switch skiing and landings.

### Expert Notes

Sir Francis Bacon skis are the top all-mountain ski from Line. Capable of laying down some trenches on groomers while providing ample float when you find untouched pow stashes, the SFB’s have long been a staple for all-mountain freestyle skiers. A Partly Cloudy core with a fully symmetrical flex profile makes the SFB’s one of the lighter all-mountain skis on the market. Francis Bacons offer a playful ride in the soft stuff that allows you to ski switch, forwards, sideways or whatever way you want to get down the mountain. Being so light, however leaves something to be desired on the frontside for those who really like to lay down the hip and carve groomers.

Line Sick Day skis are an all-mountain and all-terrain ski that caters to the strong intermediate and expert level skier. The Sick Day is versatile and stable enough to hit the smooth groomers, fly through the bumps, and float through the powder. The Magic Finger Carbon Filaments combined with a lightweight aspen core allow these skis to take you from deep in the backcountry to the groomers with ease. With the Early Rise, the tip and tail lift away from the snow and bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This helps increase lift in deep snow and allows the skis to engage more quickly on hardpack. Line Sick Day skis feature Directional Flex where the softer tip initiates turns easier and the stiffer tail provides power, stability, and control at high speeds.

Line Mastermind skis are an entry-level freestyle ski for the beginner park skier who wants to be able to ski the entire mountain. Mastermind skis are lightweight, forgiving, and playful,  making them a great choice for the all-mountain ski experience while also testing out new beginner-level tricks in the park. The Symmetric Flex makes learning how to ride forwards and backwards easy, especially if this is the skiers first twin tip ski. With the 5-Cut Multi-Radius Sidecut, the Mastermind allows for a variety of turn shapes and an intuitive control. The Aspen Macroblock Core is extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver. The Fatty Base and Edge adds durability and tuning life to the skis to make the base and edges 30% thicker and protect the skis from abuse in the park.
