One of Line’s most popular skis, the Sir Francis Bacon is an excellent fit for skiers who are looking to progress their skills in the park, and in the backcountry. 3D Convex Tip and Tail Technology adds convex contouring to improve the feel of the ski and improve overall control and float. The Sidewall Construction with ultra high-density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges helps absorb negative vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple in the core maintains the lightweight nature of these skis and creates the best strength-to-weight ratio. The Symmetrical Flex Pattern contributes to easy switch skiing and landings.

Sir Francis Bacon skis are the top all-mountain ski from Line. Capable of laying down some trenches on groomers while providing ample float when you find untouched pow stashes, the SFB’s have long been a staple for all-mountain freestyle skiers. A Partly Cloudy core with a fully symmetrical flex profile makes the SFB’s one of the lighter all-mountain skis on the market. Francis Bacons offer a playful ride in the soft stuff that allows you to ski switch, forwards, sideways or whatever way you want to get down the mountain. Being so light, however leaves something to be desired on the frontside for those who really like to lay down the hip and carve groomers.

The Blizzard Bodacious is a pure freeride ski for more advanced athletes who want to cruise straight and fast down the mountain. Best suited for big mountains and variable terrain, the Bodacious is geared towards advanced and professional level skiers. Prior to 2018, this ski had a flat underfoot, but has since returned to the rocker-camber-rocker profile for a more versatile, everyday ski. While the updated version of the ski is well-suited for both groomed trails and powder, these skis are mainly geared towards more aggressive skiers that prefer to ski straight and fast with long radius arcs, rather than make quick, tight turns at slower speeds. A stable and responsive ski, the Bodacious has a strong bias for powder runs. The titanal laminate provides more power and grip when you need it on the frontside hard pack, while the rocker-camber-rocker profile gives a nice lift in deep snow. The Supernatural’s were bred to blast through crud, float through pow, and rail turns at Mach 1. Volkl Revolt skis are a playful all-mountain twin-tip that are best suited for beginner to intermediate level freestyle skiers. The Revolt offers solid performance in the park, but is also completely capable enough to be playful all over the mountain. Carbon Stringers inside the Multi-Layer Wood Core add some extra snap and pop to the ski when catching air.
