This series from Blizzard was designed to be the quintessential groomer ski, emphasizing edgehold, precision and stability. Like Audi’s snow conquering Quattro, the Blizzard Quattro craves speed and rails like the California Zephyr thanks to carbon-Titanal-wood core, tip and tail rocker and a binding system that allows the ski to flex as naturally as possible. This combination provides enhanced power transmission and maximum edge grip. Put the Quattro on firm snow and give it gas and you’ll understand what G-forces are like.

Blizzard Cochise skis are one of the classic all-mountain freeride skis in Blizzard’s line-up and are best-suited for advanced skiers who charge all types of terrain at high speeds. Cochise skis are designed for expert skiers who prefer a fast pace and larger radius turns. The Carbon Flipcore Technology -- which features carbon fiber tips and tails -- combined with a poplar wood core and two sheets of titanal metal helps maintain the stability and stiffness of these skis. The progressive wide body style and slightly more aggressive tip shape help with turn initiation. The rocker camber rocker profile is just enough to add some float without sacrificing the edge grip and turning performance.

The Blizzard Bodacious is a pure freeride ski for more advanced athletes who want to cruise straight and fast down the mountain. Best suited for big mountains and variable terrain, the Bodacious is geared towards advanced and professional level skiers. Prior to 2018, this ski had a flat underfoot, but has since returned to the rocker-camber-rocker profile for a more versatile, everyday ski. While the updated version of the ski is well-suited for both groomed trails and powder, these skis are mainly geared towards more aggressive skiers that prefer to ski straight and fast with long radius arcs, rather than make quick, tight turns at slower speeds. A stable and responsive ski, the Bodacious has a strong bias for powder runs. Originally designed and constructed by the late pro skier Arne Backstrom, the Bodacious spent many years as one of the best-selling freeride skis in the Blizzard line-up.
