Top Competitors
The Maverik Hyperlite is known for its exceptional lightweight design and focus on speed and agility. It’s a strong competitor to the Burn XP Carbon. It offers a similar level of performance but with a different emphasis on weight reduction. The STX Stallion 6000 is often associated with durability, and certain models within the series offer a balance of performance and strength, making it a competitive option against the Burn XP Carbon.
Progression of the Burn XP:
The Warrior Burn XP Carbon shaft is a relatively new model in Warrior's lacrosse equipment lineup. As such, it doesn't have a direct predecessor with the same name. However, it builds upon the legacy of Warrior's Burn series, which has been a staple in the lacrosse market for years.
The XP Carbon incorporates higher-quality carbon fiber materials compared to previous Burn models, offering improved strength, weight, and responsiveness. It also features enhanced grip patterns and materials for improved ball control and feel.

Super grippy and feels even better with gloves on. Great for all aspects of the game. |
The Burn XP is really durable. I’ve traveled with it for many tournaments and I play great with it. |
Super light and durable. I went ahead and already bought a second one for a back up. |
👎 Cons |

After only a few months of play, I threw a check and it cracked right in half. |
It snapped mid-game. Personally, I would invest in an alloy shaft. More durable than composite. |
Tape does not stick to this shaft at all. |
The XP is one of the top Warrior shafts on the market. It comes in 3 colors: white, black, and grey. The carbon in this shaft is designed so that it increases its flex without sacrificing durability. The new dot matrix grip makes it so that you don’t have to tape your sticks, but it also gives your gloves a break so the palms see less wear. When purchasing this shaft, you get two end caps so you can change your stick how you like it. 1 end cap for maximum shot leverage and 1 to make the stick lighter.
