The Gait Torque is a throwback offensive head designed for the sport’s top midfielders. It’s legal at the NFHS and youth levels too, so it’s also a great choice for beginner players looking for a strong and durable offensive head. The head is the first from Gait to feature Gait Canted Technology, specifically designed to maximize offset by gradually lowering the bottom rail. The bottom rail is also flattened to optimize pocket customization near the throat and top of the head. The head also features a flat, stiff scoop to provide great stiffness and durability on ground balls. The head also features inside rib support to create unmatched strength and stiffness by adding more plastic to the piece in between the upper and lower sidewall.

One of Gait’s best known heads to date is the Torque. It's also one of the most advanced heads of its time, featuring "Gait Canted Technology." This head has one of the most curved scoops in the game. Ground balls with the Torque are a breeze, thanks to the deep angle of the scoop. The throat of the head was made to be as pinched as possible without becoming illegal, so right around that 3” requirement.

This head comes in an offense and defense model. The offense is easy to use. ECD always produces a perfect head. It's made with light and durable material. You can get a lot of use out of the Rebel without really trashing it. And the defensive head is made to be stiff. It won't bend in any way, which defensemen like, especially when playing at the higher level. The more checks you throw, the more warped a head can get. The sidewalls are solid on the Rebel. A player can throw some pretty strong checks.
