Designed with the pure shooter in mind, Easton’s Stealth CX is a long running favorite amongst pros and elite level hockey players. It offers a relatively stiff blade construction, low kick-point, and an EC100 Carbon Fiber matrix shaft with an extra tough resin matrix. With Easton’s Hyperlite design, you can rest assured that any excess material in the stick’s taper has been removed, resulting in an ultra balanced and lightweight feel on the ice.

### Expert Notes

The Easton Stealth CX stick has great weight distribution. It feels quite light all the way through the shaft, but there’s just the right amount of weight localized at the blade. The shaft has a more rounded shape which is easy on the hands and allows for smooth rotation when handling the puck. The blade is very firm and has no problems with buckling or opening up when releasing shots. These sticks are unbelievably responsive and easy to handle.

### Product Description 

Easton reinvented our understanding of hockey sticks when it released the Synergy back in 2001 as the first ever, true composite stick. Since then, the Synergy has continued to draw rave reviews. The HTX plays particularly stiff thanks mostly to its Hypertuned construction which keeps the stick’s blade as stiff as the stick’s shaft. It’s blade, with Hypertoe technology, offers a similar feel and is designed for players who rely heavily on their stick’s toe for loading and sniping shots.

### Expert Notes 

The Synergy HTX stick offers a lot of similar characteristics that Easton loyalists will be familiar with from past sticks from the Synergy line. This includes a classic shaft shape, an overall well-balanced stick, and a strong blade. The strength of the blade is a big plus on this twig, as it does a great job of dampening hard passes and improving puck control while being firm on shot releases. The flex through the shaft is fairly evenly distributed, versus having one localized kick point.

### Product Description 

An explosive composite twig, the Easton V9 inspires top-level performance with its lightweight and rugged design. The V9 combines new forms of technology to result in a stick that loads and releases with impressive velocity, resulting in an impressive energy transfer on every shot. 

The stick features a Thin Taper with a Tuned Flex Shaft Profile; this means, the lower part of the shaft is thinner and tapers where the shaft meets the blade. The Tuned Flex Profile works with your bodyweight to store energy below where your bottom hand is placed to fully load up your sticks.  As most hockey players know, your bottom hand is key to releasing your shot with velocity -- with the V9, your release will be exceptionally smooth and quick.

In terms of the V9’s blade, it features what Easton refers to as Hypertoe. This design combines a stiff toe with a softened taper section. The available curve patterns for the V9 include the Dual Lie Patterns E3, E28, and E36. These patterns are designed to keep the puck on the toe of your blade.

### Expert Notes

The blade on the V9 is lightly textured and unbelievably soft. It provides awesome feel on the puck, and is great on pass receptions. It’s very smooth on its shot release as well. This twig also has a nice taper towards the distal end of the shaft, which creates an extremely noticeable lower kick point. If you’re a bit of a loyalist when it comes to Easton sticks, we’d compare the V9 as being most similar to a Mako twig or to a Stealth CX in terms of shaft feel and flex point.

### Product Description

The Easton Synergy GX Stick is a durable, lightweight stick known for its powerful shot release and responsive puck feel. ShotBoost technology allows for greater puck velocity, while the Power Taper design transfers more power to the blade to maximize each shot. Hypertuned2 Flex technology makes the shaft more responsive to the player and the Hyperlite Design makes a zero overlap taper that keeps the stick lightweight and balanced. The shaft and blade are made with a strong XTX Resin that reinforces the blade against impacts. The blade also boasts the Hypertoe design, which makes it stiffer all around and allows for a more responsive shot and increased durability.

### Expert Notes

Any Easton loyalist will tell you that the Synergy stick line includes an array of incredible twigs, and are some of the most fun sticks to use. Specifically, the Synergy GX continues the tradition of being a really playful, whippy stick to use. The blade on these sticks has a nice soft feel, but could be considered too soft by some players. If you tend to go back and forth between a few different flexes, we’d recommend going with a higher flex on the Synergy GX to help correct for some of the softness. For example, if you rotate between a 75 flex and an 85 flex, it’s probably a good idea to rock a Synergy GX twig at an 85 flex. Another thing to note: if you tend to shoot of the toe, the Synergy GX will allow you to rip shots off the toe without the blade giving or buckling.
