PROS: 




* These skates are amazing! The boot is super stiff and supportive, which gives me a ton of power in my strides. My skating feels much faster and more efficient.
* The Lock Fit Pro liner is incredibly comfortable and provides a great heel lock. The thermoformable features allow for a truly custom fit, which makes a huge difference for my skating. No more worrying about blisters or pressure points.
* The LS5 steel blades are a game-changer. They offer some of the best edge control I've ever experienced. Turns feel effortless and I can really dig into the ice for powerful pushes.

CONS:



* The break-in period for these skates was brutal. It took a good few weeks before they started to feel comfortable. Be prepared to put in some extra ice time if you get these.
* These skates are definitely on the expensive side. While they perform great, the price might not be realistic for everyone.
* I had a hard time finding these skates in my size. It seems like they sell out quickly and aren't always readily available.

The 2S Pro is a higher-end skate built for professional or competitive play. It has a lot of extra comfort and will be lighter with all the space-age technology materials. The 2S Pro has excellent power and control, so you can repeatedly explode your speed. This skate does have a quick-release mechanism to switch out your blades easily. The Supreme line has a more anatomical kind of snug fit. If you want a skate with all the bells and whistles, the 2S Pro is for you.

**PROS:**



* Just started playing hockey and these skates are perfect for me. They're comfortable, supportive, and affordable. I haven't had any problems learning to skate in them, and they seem pretty durable so far.
* I have wider feet and these skates fit great.  The ankle support feels good and they don't pinch anywhere. The break-in period wasn't too bad either..
* Sure, these aren't top-of-the-line skates, but for a recreational player like me, they work just fine. They offer decent ankle support and a good blade for basic skating and maneuvering.

**CONS:**



* These skates felt a bit too soft for me. I couldn't get a very powerful push-off and I felt like I was losing some energy transfer. If you're a more powerful skater, you might want to look for a stiffer boot.
* Once I started working on more advanced skating drills, I felt like these skates didn't offer enough ankle support.  For basic skating, they're fine.
* The quality of the materials seems a bit on the cheaper side. I'm worried about how long these skates will last, especially with regular use.

There is no quick-release mechanism for the metal runners or blades, which makes the 140 a good skate for beginners or skaters who skate less often and don't want to pay too much but still want a quality skate. Do you like a bit of extra power or do you want to try something different?
