PROS:



* These skates are top-of-the-line. The composite boot provides incredible stiffness and responsiveness. My strides feel powerful, and the edges hold like nobody's business.  
* The TotalFit Pro+ liner with the asymmetrical tongue offers a fantastic, locked-in fit. The liner feels supportive and comfortable from the start, and the heat-molding capabilities allowed me to get a truly custom fit around my ankles and heels.
* Despite the stiffness for power transfer, the JetSpeed FT4 feels surprisingly lightweight.  The fit allows for good mobility in the ankle, and the boot design helps with quick turns and overall agility. 

CONS:



* These skates are expensive. While the performance is good, the price tag is only realistic for serious players or those with a professional budget. There are very good skates available at lower price points.
* Unfortunately after using these for less than a season, a puck from a shot hit the interior of the skate and created a huge crack in the "one piece boot". I was shocked at how easily these skates split open.
* These skates needed a longer break-in period than I expected, especially compared to other JetSpeed models I’ve tried. It took them a few weeks of use before the skates felt truly comfortable.

Many people compare the FT4 Pro to the HyperLite, but the FT4 has much more power. It's an incredibly powerful skate, and the fit is perfect. I would do my stride in the FT4 Pro and realized pretty quickly that I needed to watch out! I'm not used to the power. You see a lot of NHL players still using the FT4 Pro. I'll see a player going really fast and think wow, look at that. Oh yeah, they are wearing the JetSpeed FT4 Pro.

Super Tacks AS1 skates are made for professional and elite level players, and are at the top of the CCM Tacks line. The one-piece heat moldable boot is constructed with a layered Premier Carbon Composite and MonoFrame 360 One-Piece Technology that improves durability and transfers power more efficiently for stronger strides. The boot is slightly taller for increased ankle support and the re-designed toe cap adds comfortable protection. The interior TotalDri Pro Dual-Zone Liner keeps feet dry and skates light while DuraZone Abrasion Resistance Pads provide grip, securing the foot and providing protection against abrasions. CCM OrthoMove Custom Support Insoles allow a personalized fit and increased energy transfer while a re-designed TriTech Flex tongue with injected foam offers mobile protection. These jets are among the most stylish looking skates on the market right now, and are recommended for elite level players. The black runner steel is a crowd favorite, because it holds an edge longer than standard steel tends to. You can clearly see when there are nicks in the blade, so it won’t be hard for you to figure out when they need to be replaced. These blades are also incredibly lightweight, and you’ll notice this right away when you pick them up. As you would expect with a top-of-the-line boot, they’re very stiff. AS1 skates also don’t have an outsole, so this combined with the stiffness allows for unreal foot control.
