The M5 Pro is focused on giving a lot of power. Normally, you'd hear a Supreme or Bauer Pro model going for $900+. The M5 Pro is different than that. It has all the Pro features, but for a cheaper price—more of a mid-range level price. So the M5 Pro has all the same comfort features, durability, the ability to change your steel, and the traditional supreme anatomic fit. With the new Fit System mechanisms, the M5 Pro allows you to customize whether you want it wide, narrow, etc.

You can really dig in and get that power and still go with the angles.

* These skates are awesome and super stable. For me there was a slight learning curve (probably more so because I have been skating in the wrong size for a good portion of my life) but these skates are game changers. The glide, the comfort, the stability, everything.

CONS:



* While the stiffness is good for intermediate players, some advanced skaters might find the Vapor 3X a bit too flexible for their needs. If you're a powerful skater who demands maximum energy transfer, you might want to consider a stiffer boot from the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite or Supreme lines.
* I like my skates tied tight. And due to this, the top eyelets of these skates did not last much beyond the warranty period. 
* The hard plastic eyelet material is impossible to get tight around upper foot and ankles. The boot is very low volume and shallow so I had to swap out for Supremes. Toe box is great though.

* I’m questioning it’s durability especially for the $1,000+ price tag. The tongue looks good but the red fabric has already torn in only a month. I just replaced his laces as they were cut in several places which appear to be a result of the plastic lace eyelets.
* The Vapor Hyperlite leans towards a stiffer flex profile for maximum energy transfer.  While great for powerful skaters, this stiffness is too much for a beginner like me.
* After 6 months of use, i’m forced to buy another set because the plastic lace system at the top of the skate was broken and rendered the skate useless.

I've had multiple pairs of the HyperLites, both retail and custom-made. It's like the HyperLite took the best elements from all the top Vapor skates and made them even lighter and more comfortable. The Hyperlite is the lightest skate I've ever used. It's almost so light that you need to get adjusted to putting pressure differently using your blades because heavier skates do give you a little extra weight. 

They have a comfort liner within the skate and right along the ankle, which keeps your ankles from wearing down. It's very durable, too. I've used a pair for about three years, skating a lot, and they've held up perfectly. Also, it's a great travel skate. Everything is weight-based if you're flying somewhere, so the HyperLite is an excellent option.

* Blade holder cracked after a deflection during a game, and the material of the boot is already falling apart. Had these for about 4 months before having to buy Hyperlites because of the poor construction.

There is not as much difference between the HyperLite and the HyperLite 2 as there was between the Hyperlite and the 2x Pro, but the 2 is really just a lighter skate. More comfort features have been added also, and there is a new locking mechanism. The HyperLite 2 still offers the quick release, but it's a different upgraded style, which makes it easier to switch the steel in and out. The holder itself is different and extremely lightweight.

You still see the 3S Pro in the NHL, and they hold up well. You can also quickly change out the blades and keep going. It's so focused on comfort and this keeps players happier. Because when you're starting out, comfort is a bit more important. The reason I've seen people STOP using this skate is just because of the durability aspect. As people become more comfortable with their game or their skating, and they start doing different cuts and using their skates differently, the wear will happen in different areas and degrade this skate faster than higher-end models.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

* These skates are top-of-the-line. The composite boot provides incredible stiffness and responsiveness. My strides feel powerful, and the edges hold like nobody's business.  
* The TotalFit Pro+ liner with the asymmetrical tongue offers a fantastic, locked-in fit. The liner feels supportive and comfortable from the start, and the heat-molding capabilities allowed me to get a truly custom fit around my ankles and heels.
* Despite the stiffness for power transfer, the JetSpeed FT4 feels surprisingly lightweight.  The fit allows for good mobility in the ankle, and the boot design helps with quick turns and overall agility. 

CONS:



* These skates are expensive. While the performance is good, the price tag is only realistic for serious players or those with a professional budget. There are very good skates available at lower price points.
* Unfortunately after using these for less than a season, a puck from a shot hit the interior of the skate and created a huge crack in the "one piece boot". I was shocked at how easily these skates split open.
* These skates needed a longer break-in period than I expected, especially compared to other JetSpeed models I’ve tried. It took them a few weeks of use before the skates felt truly comfortable.

Many people compare the FT4 Pro to the HyperLite, but the FT4 has much more power. It's an incredibly powerful skate, and the fit is perfect. I would do my stride in the FT4 Pro and realized pretty quickly that I needed to watch out! I'm not used to the power. You see a lot of NHL players still using the FT4 Pro. I'll see a player going really fast and think wow, look at that. Oh yeah, they are wearing the JetSpeed FT4 Pro.

The 2S Pro is a higher-end skate built for professional or competitive play. It has a lot of extra comfort and will be lighter with all the space-age technology materials. The 2S Pro has excellent power and control, so you can repeatedly explode your speed. This skate does have a quick-release mechanism to switch out your blades easily. The Supreme line has a more anatomical kind of snug fit. If you want a skate with all the bells and whistles, the 2S Pro is for you.

This a great skate with respect to comfort, performance, and price point. The boot offers foot and ankle support without compromising the skate’s comfort and weight. Another benefit of these skates is how quickly they break in. For a firm boot, they are quite adaptable and a perfect buy for someone who skates less frequently and wants to quickly break in a new skate. On the ice, Supreme 170 skates feel great, from the strong rebounding tendon guard on the back to the soft white tongues in the front. They also look very sharp with their primarily black design, very similar to Bauer’s top Supreme skate.
