The FT6 Pro is basically the FT4 Pro on steroids. It offers really, really good speed and a bit better comfort than the FT4 Pro. It also has more flexibility and memory foam to prevent lace bite, and it addresses range-of-motion issues. This skate offers speed, power, and a good range of motion. You can really dig in and get that power and still go with the angles.

PROS:



* These skates offer a significant jump in performance over entry-level skates. The Flex Composite boot provides a good balance of stiffness for powerful strides and some flex for maneuverability. They're perfect for skaters who want to improve their game without breaking the bank.
* The Vapor 3X fits true to size and feels comfortable right out of the box. The 40-ounce felt tongue with comfort lining offers good support and reduces pressure points. The asymmetrical toe cap also seems to help with a snug fit around the toes.
* Skate has a good amount of higher end features and has good interior support. We upgraded the foot beds to super feet since the include ones are typical unsupported foam. All in all a very good middle of the line skate for not a lot of money.

CONS:



* Skilled players who are used to top-of-the-line skates might find the Vapor 3X a bit too flexible. The flex profile is geared towards balance and maneuverability, which can sacrifice some energy transfer for powerful strides. 
* Blade holder cracked after a deflection during a game, and the material of the boot is already falling apart. Had these for about 4 months before having to buy Hyperlites because of the poor construction.
* The Vapor 3X doesn't offer any heat-molding capabilities and while the liner is comfortable…I have some wicked pressure points and am disappointed with the customization options.

The 3X was released close to the HyperLite, which was a revolutionary skate at the time, so it kinda got lost in the mix. It's still a good skate and very similar to the 3X Pro model but without as much comfort. It's a mid- to upper-level fully composite skate with a felt tongue and a hydrophobic liner with a great grip.

* These skates are top-of-the-line. The composite boot provides incredible stiffness and responsiveness. My strides feel powerful, and the edges hold like nobody's business.  
* The TotalFit Pro+ liner with the asymmetrical tongue offers a fantastic, locked-in fit. The liner feels supportive and comfortable from the start, and the heat-molding capabilities allowed me to get a truly custom fit around my ankles and heels.
* Despite the stiffness for power transfer, the JetSpeed FT4 feels surprisingly lightweight.  The fit allows for good mobility in the ankle, and the boot design helps with quick turns and overall agility. 

CONS:



* These skates are expensive. While the performance is good, the price tag is only realistic for serious players or those with a professional budget. There are very good skates available at lower price points.
* Unfortunately after using these for less than a season, a puck from a shot hit the interior of the skate and created a huge crack in the "one piece boot". I was shocked at how easily these skates split open.
* These skates needed a longer break-in period than I expected, especially compared to other JetSpeed models I’ve tried. It took them a few weeks of use before the skates felt truly comfortable.

Many people compare the FT4 Pro to the HyperLite, but the FT4 has much more power. It's an incredibly powerful skate, and the fit is perfect. I would do my stride in the FT4 Pro and realized pretty quickly that I needed to watch out! I'm not used to the power. You see a lot of NHL players still using the FT4 Pro. I'll see a player going really fast and think wow, look at that. Oh yeah, they are wearing the JetSpeed FT4 Pro.

PROS:



* The one-piece composite boot is stiff and lightweight, providing excellent energy transfer with every push. I noticed a significant difference in my skating speed and agility after switching to the AS-V. They feel very responsive on the ice.
* The one-piece boot on these skates provides a good balance of stiffness for performance and comfort. The multi-density foam core seem to help with the break-in period, making them comfortable to wear for long practices. 
* The AS-V is out of this world for comfort in the wide. They have fixed the low volume and the toe cap so no longer rubbing on the top of the foot. I knew these were great as soon as I put them on. I’m glad I didn't settle for the other skates and waited for these to come out. 

CONS:



* For sure a longer break-in period due to the stiffness of the boot. I had some ankle soreness during the first few weeks of use.
* The AS-V skates don't offer as many customization options as some other high-end models. The liner is not fully heat-moldable like some other skates. 
* I am worried about the blade holder system. They come with plastic insert. Took out and tried to put in V-Steel. Could not get to go in.

The AS-V offers a close, professional fit, and a lot of power. I really love the quick acceleration. The number one thing with this skate is comfort. The padding really secures the ankle and foot while keeping the flexibility to turn and move. The tongue has a funky design, but it allows you to get a full range of motion without feeling insecure in the skate or like it's going to fall off or wobble.
