### Product Description

JetSpeed FT1 skates utilize the latest CCM technologies for a light, balanced skate that’s built for speed. The new RocketFrame boot design with LiteFrame 360 Technology is a one-pice construction that fits around and under the foot to eliminate the need for an outsole.  Heat moldable, the boot eliminates empty space and provides direct energy transfer. The TotalDri Pro liner is a lightweight wicking material with vents for dryness and breathability along with durability patches for grip and comfort. The Tri-Tech Tongue is high density felt for protection without limiting mobility, and the SpeedBlade 4.0 holder angles forward for more aggressive turning and cuts. The high quality SpeedBlade Hyperglide steel runner has a hard tempered finish that reduces friction and drag for efficient gliding and increased energy performance.

### Expert Notes 

Aesthetically, this skate is a fan favorite among hockey players who aren’t ashamed to say they care about the look of their gear. JetSpeed FT1 skates are praised for their black contoured boot with subtle red accents. This look is clean and sharp, and is very similar to Bauer’s 1X LE skate. In addition, the soft white tongue is extremely comfortable and adds some flashiness for those players who like to let their tongues fly while they’re skating. As far as performance goes, JetSpeed FT1 skates are super quick on the ice as a result of CCM’s one-piece technology, which produces an unbelievable level of responsiveness with each stride.

Super Tacks AS1 skates are made for professional and elite level players, and are at the top of the CCM Tacks line. The one-piece heat moldable boot is constructed with a layered Premier Carbon Composite and MonoFrame 360 One-Piece Technology that improves durability and transfers power more efficiently for stronger strides. The boot is slightly taller for increased ankle support and the re-designed toe cap adds comfortable protection. The interior TotalDri Pro Dual-Zone Liner keeps feet dry and skates light while DuraZone Abrasion Resistance Pads provide grip, securing the foot and providing protection against abrasions. CCM OrthoMove Custom Support Insoles allow a personalized fit and increased energy transfer while a re-designed TriTech Flex tongue with injected foam offers mobile protection. The SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder has a triangular design for optimum balance and energy transfer while SB Black Runners have an oxide coating that helps the steel stay sharper longer without corroding.

### Expert Notes

These jets are among the most stylish looking skates on the market right now, and are recommended for elite level players. The black runner steel is a crowd favorite, because it holds an edge longer than standard steel tends to. You can clearly see when there are nicks in the blade, so it won’t be hard for you to figure out when they need to be replaced. These blades are also incredibly lightweight, and you’ll notice this right away when you pick them up. As you would expect with a top-of-the-line boot, they’re very stiff. AS1 skates also don’t have an outsole, so this combined with the stiffness allows for unreal foot control.
