It also has more flexibility and memory foam to prevent lace bite, and it addresses range-of-motion issues. This skate offers speed, power, and a good range of motion. You can really dig in and get that power and still go with the angles.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

Many people compare the FT4 Pro to the HyperLite, but the FT4 has much more power. It's an incredibly powerful skate, and the fit is perfect. I'll see a player going really fast and think wow, look at that. Oh yeah, they are wearing the JetSpeed FT4 Pro.

These jets are among the most stylish looking skates on the market right now, and are recommended for elite level players. The black runner steel is a crowd favorite, because it holds an edge longer than standard steel tends to. You can clearly see when there are nicks in the blade, so it won’t be hard for you to figure out when they need to be replaced. The Ribcor Elite boot construction is made from a Carbon Composite that keeps the skate lightweight, without compromising ankle protection. The heat-moldable interior dual liner is a Tacky Nash with Clarino providing cool, dry comfort while the Tri-Guard Tongue offers protection from heavy impacts. The SpeedBlade 4.0 holder is 4mm higher than traditional CCM models, which provides more power and facilitates explosive turns. The SpeedBlade black runner offers a long edge life and reduces drag.

### Expert Notes

For starters, RibCor 50K skates feature the black steel that holds an edge very well and has great longevity between sharpens. The boot will feel pretty stiff the first time you wear these, but overall these skates hold up very well overtime -- especially nice, given their average price point. Pump technology is also a nice feature of 50K skates. CCM’s Advanced Pump allows you to control the amount of air that’s circulated into the air bladders around your ankles on your skates. This helps lock in your heel by eliminating negative space and providing you the option to customize your fit. In addition, The RibCor 50K has a tapered fit in the ankle and a slightly narrower design around the heel and the forefoot compared to the Tacks and RBZ lines from CCM.
