What happened to Easton Hockey?
There are still a lot of hockey players out there who are loyal to Easton, despite the fact that the company doesn’t make new hockey equipment anymore. Easton Hockey was bought by Bauer’s parent company in 2016, but Easton still manufacturers gear for other sports like baseball and softball.
Synergy or Stealth
Easton’s shin guards come in two lines: synergy and stealth. Synergy shin pads are lightweight and breathable, so you won’t feel constricted. If you want to feel like you’ve got no pads on at all, go with Stealth shin pads. They’re even lighter, with a low-profile design that boasts an easy fit.
Easton shin guards come in three sizes. Youth shin pads run from 8-10 inches, and are suitable for players 3'4" to 4'8" tall. Junior shin pads are 11-13 inches, good for players 4'4" to 5'4" tall. Senior shin pads run 14-17, which are best suited for players taller than 5’4”.
