👍 Pros
The Poron and V2 foams are so comfortable that I barely noticed I was wearing the helmet.
I was looking for a good new helmet that would protect me, fits well and looks good— the 9.0 does it all.
Bought this for my son and he really loves it. The fit is snug and adjustable. There are no pressure points.
👎 Cons
I've gotten 2 concussions wearing this helmet! It only adjusts forwards and backwards which doesn't help if you need a slightly bigger width.
The protective film peeled some of the paint off in places. Now my helmet looks all patchwork.
Adjusting the helmet size was a bit more difficult than with my older helmet. Too many moving parts.
The IMS 9.0 is an older model, but it still holds up well. The V2 liner is surprisingly comfortable and does a decent job of absorbing impact. The 9.0 is a good option for recreational players or those just starting out. It's lightweight and offers a decent field of vision, making it a comfortable choice for long practices and games. It's a reliable helmet that will keep your head protected.
