These are the newest wedges to arrive fresh from Titleist. The SM7 wedges are heavier compared to the SM6’s. Players who are looking to get increased spin and better feel from their wedges will love the SM7. The CG (center of gravity) is higher in the higher lofted wedges to further increase spin. Inversely, the CG is lower in the lower wedges to control ball flight. This means you’ll get more spin from the SM7 sand and lob wedges compared to the SM6 versions.

More spin is made possible by the TX4 Grooves with a new parallel face texture which produces sharper and more consistent groove edges. These spin milled wedges enhance your shot versatility and give you maximum spin. You always expect Bob Vokey wedges to be outstanding, and these certainly do not fall short. The 54 and 56 have the same classic look as past Vokey models and the face is still extremely soft.  For the lower lofted wedges, Vokey lowers the center of gravity which is meant to produce extra spin. For the higher lofted wedges, weight is moved to the top to raise the center of gravity. This will give you controlled trajectory. Check out the newest groove design, TX4, which gives you consistent edges across the grooves.

Tour-player feedback was essential to create a wedge with a compact preferred profile and shorter blade length with rounder toe to execute more shots with added control. The SM5 comes available in a wide selection of bounce and grind options to fit any swing style, shot technique, and course conditions. TX3 Grooves are deep spin milled grooves that channel grass and sand away from the club face for improved contact, and greater spin and control. These grooves are highly-durable with the high frequency face heat treatment which provides longer spin retention over the life of the wedge.
