The Louiseville Select PWR bat is one of the hottest bass out there for hybrids. The BBCOR model is a heavier bat and is in the same category as The Goods by DeMarini. Only about 20% of the market is going to be able to use this bat just because of it’s weight. It’s designed for a power hitter who likes a stiff feel and big barrel.

* This bat has a fantastic feel, sound, and performance on miss-hits. It boasts one of the largest sweet spots in BBCOR. Although it lacks feedback, it is very easy to swing.
* Great feel and pop. Although I usually change grips, the stock grip on this bat is solid. The durability is very impressive as well, as the bat has already outlasted most others.
* No failures on Meta bats except cosmetic chips. They perform better than new. High school varsity team used 32-3 for 2 years without issues. Change grip tape yearly and keep hitting!

* The finish will chip if hit against spikes.
* It's expensive.... and not crazy about the color.
* This bat has no pop.

* This bat is amazing! Both my 18-year-old and 15-year-old love it. It produces more exit velocity than any other BBCOR bat we've used."
* My son owns both the Cat8 and the Meta. The Cat8 has decent pop, but nothing compared to the Meta. The sweet spot on the Meta is at least three times larger, and when he connects, the ball takes off.
* This bat is a tank. If you get this bat it will guarantee you 5 more exit velo.

This is a one-piece, aluminum alloy bat that’s permitted for use at both the high school and collegiate level. Specifically, this bat features the lowest swing weight profile and the fastest swing speed of any bat in Louisville Slugger’s BBCOR lineup. Lastly, the handle features anti-vibration technology to help reduce sting on mishits. In addition, it comes with a custom lizard skin grip to give you exceptional comfort.

It is the most balanced bat Slugger makes, and by sure features the lightest swing of all Louisville Slugger bats. It also comes in a 29-inch length, which we absolutely love. The 618 Solo in BBCOR is one of the best BBCOR bats on the market. It’s a perfect option for a 13 or 14-year-old looking for as much bat speed as possible. It also has a good sized barrel and enough girth to avoid major hand stings on mishits.
