The Voodoo is an older model. It's been discontinued and replaced by a new bat called The Goods. Both are very similar in design. The Voodoo is a heavier bat designed for larger players who want more power and distance. It's one of the better performers in that two-piece design; it's a composite handle with an alloy barrel, which means they call it a hybrid because it has both materials inside the bat (alloy and composite), giving it an enloaded feel.

-   I bought the Easton Ghost bat (28/18) for my 7-year-old son, who plays kid pitch. It's great! No vibration, excellent pop. He's excelled in batting since he started using it. Worth the cost. Highly recommended!
    
-   Bought the 29-inch version instead of the 28-inch for my 8-year-old. It makes a cracking sound, but he hits 20 feet further with it than his old bat. No vibration issues yet. Overall, a solid bat.
    
-   My 11-year-old son loved this bat. He used it in a tournament right out of the package and almost all of his team used it too. They scored 19 runs in that game.

The Ghost X Evolution is a two piece composite bat. It’s one of the better Little League bats of 2019 because it has a lighter weight and is easy to swing. In the USA marketplace, it was probably one of the better bats. It has a cool paint job, which is attractive for a Little Leaguer, where looks can often be more of a consideration than performance.

* I am pleased to say that my son has experienced an increased exit speed and longer distances. He has noticed that the bat has an expanded sweet spot, resulting in more comfortable hits with less sting.
* My son had a few mishits but the ball still came off decently, and he mentioned that there was no vibration. I would recommend this bat, especially for younger kids who are improving their skills but still want success.
* A go-to choice when under pressure. It has a large sweet spot, providing a ton of power. The bat is also easy to swing and consistently achieves a higher exit velocity off the tee compared to a Cat9 alloy and 23' meta.

**CONS**



* I purchased the -8 version, which has a small sweet spot. The knob is great, but the grip is not as effective. 
* If you are still 11, I suggest you get the drop ten because it has a bigger sweet spot and more pop due to its smaller aluminum content. Overall, it's a nice medium-swinging -8! 
* I was unaware that this bat was the Junior version and only recommended for Coach Pitch.

The CAT8 is an older model from 2019 and a good BBCOR and USSSA bat. Very good performing bat with a sound that players love. Lightweight and easy to swing. It's probably one of the best sellers, and since the CAT8 is still available, it's perhaps one of the better bang for the buck. Prices dropped for this older model. So, it is a good match for an entry-level player on a tight budget.

Speed is indeed the name of the game for one of Easton’s flagship alloy bat series. The most recent 2022 Easton Speed bat has a one-piece composite construction, and
features the company’s Hyperlite material, which makes for an astonishingly fast swing. And while this release is beloved by us and others, many hitters have told me that
nothing beats the 2019 Easton Speed release, which became famous for its green handle, black barrel, and outstanding production at every level and age group. Regardless of which model you use, one thing is clear: hitters craft a special connection with their Easton Speed bats. Swinging a Speed might be all you need to accelerate your game.

### About the Louisville Slugger Prime 919

Louisville’s Slugger’s Prime 919 bat is BBCOR certified and one of the best performing two-piece composite bats on the market. With a large barrel and lighter swing weight, the Prime 919 is a balanced bat with a mix of power and speed. Brand new in 2019, the patented VCX Technology improves the durability and weight distribution of the bat to control vibrations and enhances the soft feel on contact. The RTX end cap contributes to a larger barrel and provides a larger sweet spot for both power and contact hitters alike. The longest lasting metal bat series on the market is still at its peak. Rawlings legendary Velo series returned in 2022, with a Velo ACP release that I’ve heard hitters say offers unparalleled balance at the plate. Over time, the Rawlings Velo series has evolved by incorporating the ACP (Accelerated Carbon Performance) line that adds extra carbon in the barrel, which we’ve heard does a lot to increase pop. While Velo’s aren’t the best looking bats you’re going to find, they make up for the plainness with top-notch performance. Rawlings’ resilient Velo series should continue to be a favorite for hard-nosed hitters who prefer production over flash.
