The Louiseville Select PWR bat is one of the hottest bass out there for hybrids. The BBCOR model is a heavier bat and is in the same category as The Goods by DeMarini. Only about 20% of the market is going to be able to use this bat just because of it’s weight. It’s designed for a power hitter who likes a stiff feel and big barrel.

-   The stock grip is just kinda okay – not as sticky or comfy as I expected. It's no deal-breaker, though. Folks generally like to tweak their grips to suit their style.
    
-   I'm not a big fan of the tapered knob on the ICON because I like to feel the handle more at the bottom (purely preference), but the handle feels fantastic.
    
-   The barrel cracked at the base of the handle. Travel ball practice starts this week and his brand new Icon is useless.

* This bat has a fantastic feel, sound, and performance on miss-hits. It boasts one of the largest sweet spots in BBCOR. Although it lacks feedback, it is very easy to swing.
* Great feel and pop. Although I usually change grips, the stock grip on this bat is solid. The durability is very impressive as well, as the bat has already outlasted most others.
* No failures on Meta bats except cosmetic chips. They perform better than new. High school varsity team used 32-3 for 2 years without issues. Change grip tape yearly and keep hitting!

* The finish will chip if hit against spikes.
* It's expensive.... and not crazy about the color.
* This bat has no pop.

The Louisville Slugger Meta is still a slightly newer model. The meta is similar to the DeMarini CF which offers a lightweight composite handle with a huge barrel made for every sort of hitter. Speed is indeed the name of the game for one of Easton’s flagship alloy bat series. The most recent 2022 Easton Speed bat has a one-piece composite construction, and
features the company’s Hyperlite material, which makes for an astonishingly fast swing. And while this release is beloved by us and others, many hitters have told me that
nothing beats the 2019 Easton Speed release, which became famous for its green handle, black barrel, and outstanding production at every level and age group.
