**CONS**

-   My son loved this bat from day one. After three weeks of use the plastic piece where the shaft meets the barrel cracked. Definitely expect something better than this for $450. Haven't started the warranty process yet so we'll see how that goes.
    
-   The bat handle now telescopes into the barrel after the junction cracked. We had expected better quality for the price and it's hard to accept a replacement that arrives 2-3 weeks later at best.
    
-   Bat bought 2 months ago broke when I dropped it. It's a good bat but not very durable. Connector piece broke and it telescoped.

The Goods is a top performer and the 2024 model is the most expensive hybrid bat on the market. It's an end loaded bat for that power hitter in your lineup. The alloy is strong, and it has a good whip to it. Overall, The Goods is in the top five in the hybrids for both BBCOR and youth. **PROS**



* A kid in a slump hit his first-ever home run with this bat. It arrived just in time for a playoff game and worked great for my average-sized 11-year-old son - not too heavy.
* After breaking in this bat properly, it really performs well! My son uses it for our USSSA 8U Travel team and you can easily tell when it's hit on the sweet spot. The bat is also forgiving on mis-hits, often resulting in faster grounders than usual (for this age group) and very high pop.
* This bat has more pop than most USA bats, similar to BBCOR/USSA. We broke it in with tee hits, and my son hit missiles and balls over the fence on the first day. Expensive, but worth it for avid players.

**CONS**



* Great indoor results with the new non-Easton bat during coach pitch pre-season. Disappointing mid-season pop-up infield hits. I've always used Easton before, won't try other brands again.
* Great pop, but poor performance when missing sweet spot. Treated with care, but still cracked in Apr. Son upset I didn't allow use in cold weather, with heavy balls or pitching machines. It was mostly used as game bat last year, did not last into 2nd season.
* My son's bat barrel cracked after hitting his first HR, leaving him without a bat during All Stars and elimination series.

The DeMarini CF is a classic model that goes back to 2015 and offers one of the hottest models (2017) but is limited in use as its performance surpasses bat standards. Overall, the CF reflects a classic design which has been the same since 2015. The Voodoo is an older model. It's been discontinued and replaced by a new bat called The Goods. Both are very similar in design. The Voodoo is a heavier bat designed for larger players who want more power and distance. It's one of the better performers in that two-piece design; it's a composite handle with an alloy barrel, which means they call it a hybrid because it has both materials inside the bat (alloy and composite), giving it an enloaded feel.

* My son just got a new bat to replace his META and it's great! It's hot out of the wrapper, has a forgiving barrel and almost no vibration. He absolutely crushed the ball. We can't wait to see how it performs when it's fully broken in.
* If you like end-loaded bats, this one has surprising pop with low noise. It feels good when squared up and I personally love it. My rating is 8/10. 
* "This bat increased my exit velocity and feels smooth when swinging. It's the best bat I've ever used."

**CONS**



* This bat is heavy and can be hard to locate the barrel. I recommended for very strong players. If you swing a drop 5 alloy, try a drop 8 Zoa.
* Sounds dead. My son hates it. We bought this bat because of the good reviews. Its expensive and has no pop.
* Only downside is that the weather needs to be warmer or it will crack the bat due to it being all composite.

The Zoa has a strong barrel and connection, making it a heavier, end loaded bat overall. Your smaller players don't get the same bat speed or same performance with that Zoa as they do with the CF. The Zoa is one of those power hitter two-piece composites.
