Wilson’s A2000 glove series has been a baseball staple since it was first released in 1957, and used by Ted Williams and Ernie Banks. We players have always known A2000’s for their Pro Stock leather’s durability, which continues to evolve and improve over time. In recent years, Wilson has started to combine the A2000’s legendary Pro Stock leather with a new SuperSkin material, which makes gloves more lightweight, moisture-resistant and twice as durable. And Wilson’s most recent A2000 release, the 2024 Love the Moment 1786 model, was designed to share a message of understanding and acceptance for people with autism. Even though my playing days are done, that alone makes me want to buy this glove. Regardless of which position you play, there’s a perfect Wilson A2000 glove available for you.

To me, Wilson A2K baseball gloves have always represented tradition, luxury, and world-class performance. The most recent 2023 A2K models are offering a brand new SuperSkin material along with Wilson’s patented Spin Control technology, which is a dimple pattern in the glove’s leather sections that I think looks really neat, which also reduces the ball’s spin rate upon contact. Though I know many fielders who favor the classic, Pro Stock leather gloves that made A2K’s highly sought after from 2015-2020. Ever since their initial release in 2007, A2K gloves have been handcrafted by the world’s best glovemakers, who cater to the desires of professional baseball players that I’d imagine know a thing or two about gloves. If you’re looking for a glove your peers will adore for its look and on-field performance, look no further than a Wilson A2K glove.

The Wilson A2K Datdude features a combination of first-rate leather, great lacing, and a five-star construction, all of which make this mitt one of the best gloves on the market and completely worth the investment. If you are looking for a perfect middle infield pattern with a unique look, there is no better choice than any of the Wilson A2K Datdude models. The hardest decision you’ll face is which year Datdude is your favorite. The 2017 edition Datdude is pretty different than most Datdude models, while the 2016 version is a good combination of both classy and flashy. If flashy is what you’re looking for though, definitely go with the 2015 model. All things considered, this glove is a great option for players who are just starting out.
