Rawlings Pro Preferred models have been my standard for top-notch baseball gloves ever since I knew what baseball was. Rawlings Heart of the Hide gloves are famous for the top-grade, USA steerhide leather they’re crafted from, which makes for a firm and sturdy glove that so many players love. We players have always known A2000’s for their Pro Stock leather’s durability, which continues to evolve and improve over time. In recent years, Wilson has started to combine the A2000’s legendary Pro Stock leather with a new SuperSkin material, which makes gloves more lightweight, moisture-resistant and twice as durable. And Wilson’s most recent A2000 release, the 2024 Love the Moment 1786 model, was designed to share a message of understanding and acceptance for people with autism. every position on the field. The most recent Renegade models evolved from older
versions by including a Velcro wrist strap that makes for an easy fit, a pro mesh back
design that I’ve heard youth players are enamored with, and a black, red, and gray
colorway that I’m sure will accent any team’s jersey colors. Yet, newer Renegade
models mirror the older by using the same full-grain leather, deep pocket, and palm pad

Youth baseball’s favorite glove continues to impress. Rawlings incorporated everything

To me, Wilson A2K baseball gloves have always represented tradition, luxury, and world-class performance. The most recent 2023 A2K models are offering a brand new SuperSkin material along with Wilson’s patented Spin Control technology, which is a dimple pattern in the glove’s leather sections that I think looks really neat, which also reduces the ball’s spin rate upon contact. Though I know many fielders who favor the classic, Pro Stock leather gloves that made A2K’s highly sought after from 2015-2020. Ever since their initial release in 2007, A2K gloves have been handcrafted by the world’s best glovemakers, who cater to the desires of professional baseball players that I’d imagine know a thing or two about gloves. If you’re looking for a glove your peers will adore for its look and on-field performance, look no further than a Wilson A2K glove.

Rawlings excels when it comes to producing gloves for every age, skill level, and price
point—proven by their Premium glove series. The most recent Premium model was
released in 2021, and features the same durable leather that's easy to close (and that youth players 
love), Yet, the newest release did switch up
the glove’s palm and web color, moving away from black and in favor of dark brown
– which I feel compliments this glove’s old fashioned feel. What hasn’t changed about
the Premium series is that the gloves endure for seasons on end, and often remain
good enough for a youth player to use until it’s time to get an adult glove. Over anything
else, kids want a glove they can trust. And Rawlings Premium gloves are as trustworthy

Featuring a steer hide leather lining, and a sturdy finger welting, TPX gloves are known for being incredibly durable. The 2018 TPX glove features a dual post web (or an H-web), and an open back. The positions recommended to use the infield TPX glove include short stop, second base, and third base.

### Expert Notes

TPX gloves are pretty flashy, but they’re great for players at any level. These mitts are made with a mid-tier leather that comes about 40 percent broken in, allowing players to customize these gloves 60 percent of the way. TPX gloves are best suited for any infield position, mainly shortstop, 2B, 3B, or pitcher to be exact. This glove maintains its shape well and won’t easily experience wear and tear.  You’ll be able to use a TPX glove for several seasons if you take care of it properly!
