Dynastar Speed Team GS skis are specifically designed to be a race-inspired all-mountain ski for beginner to intermediate skiers ages U10-U16. This junior giant slalom race ski helps junior skiers develop solid basics and helps transition them into the next competitive level. Constructed with the Easy Rise Rocker, these skis are designed to increase control and ease turn initiation. Fibro Metal Layers in the tips of the ski contribute to their overall lightweight nature, and help to smooth out turn initiation and improve full-length edge contact. A wood core and titanal laminate construction improves stability and torsional rigidity for optimal snow feel and balance. The camber provides shock absorption and edge grip, while the subtle tip rocker makes it easier to pivot the skis and provides full-length contact through the turn.

Dynastar took their World Cup platform and transformed it into the Team series. The Speed Team GS skis are designed specifically for junior racers from U10 through U16. Speed Team GS skis feature a sandwich laminate wood core construction and an R20 Pro race plate for precision, balance and power. Dynastar also developed the Team series with progressive, size-relative flexes to elevate junior racers to the next level. Built with a Power Turn Rocker, turn initiation and engagement become quicker. You’ll experience faster edge to edge transfer.

Volkl’s RTM skis are perfect for someone looking for a more traditional, frontside carving ski that has additional width underfoot. Loaded with Volkl’s UVO dampening system and a wood-based core, the RTM’s give off a smooth feel at high speeds while their 3D.Ridge Technology provides a thicker channel down the center of the ski and a thin sidewall that reduces overall weight. Volk’s newly designed 3D.Glass construction adds extra stability and power along the ski’s sidewalls. While there are several models of the RTM’s available based on the skis’ width underfoot, the RTM 76’s with the vMotion 1 binding system are an ideal match for any beginner or intermediate skier.

The Volkl RTM line is among the easiest skis to turn in, and overall are one of the most stable, sought-after all-mountain skis on the market. The 3D Ridge construction serves to provide torsional stiffness that shortens periods of chatter. The XTD Tip and Tail (aka early rise tip and tail) results in a more centralized contact point between the ski and the snow, providing unmatched swing weight for blower tree skiing and quick mogul runs. The RTM and an under-foot camber profile gives the skier stable edge grip and consistent contact throughout on-piste arcs. These skis will let you ride aggressively with little effort.
