Top Competitors

The STX Stallion 6000 is associated with durability, performance, and affordability, making it a suitable competitor to the Hypercore. The Warrior Evo QX is a mid-range option from Warrior that provides a balance of performance and value. It competes directly with the Hypercore in the same market segment.

Progression of the Hypercore:

The Maverik Hypercore Lacrosse Shaft is a relatively newer model within Maverik's lineup and doesn't have a direct predecessor with the same name. However, it builds upon Maverik's history of producing high-performance lacrosse shafts at accessible price points.

👍 Pros
I am a large guy and can play pretty rough. This shaft hasn't broken yet.
I’ve used the hypercore for my past three tournaments, has held up well, and so far I really like it.
My son loves this shaft. It is lightweight and has stayed in top shape so far, even though he can play a little rough.
👎 Cons
I've had a lot of warranties come in the store for hypercores.
Not as durable as I’d hoped. Chips and dents, but still useable.
Not for me. It’s light but not as light as other shafts on the market for half the price.
Maverik's new 2024 version of the Hypercore is offered in black-and-white options to both offensive and defensive players. This shaft is made of carbon compostite performance material, making it super durable. It increases a player's passing and shooting accuracy, as it has a zero-flex profile and an I-Beam core technology to make it even stiffer for high-level and intense players.
